@ Maruga: Are you sure these are lossless files? I have an analysis of them that clearly shows a sharp frequency cut above 16000 Hz. Could this be for other reasons than compression? Are you 100% sure about the lineage? This is no allegation, I just need to know for archivation reasons. Thanks! Nummer2 |
frank39 24.10.2006 04:08 |
The uploaded High Voltage Cover is slightly changed: Originally there was a mistake: Progression instead of Procession, the word DISC1 is missing on the sides, ( I never saw DISC2!) and what is really incomplete, is the last track: Quite strange, its not a Queen song, but Ballroom Blitz from Slade. I have the original uncut, lossles LP version in flac. If I find some time, I can upload it to Rhapidshare |

Hi Maruga, I really don't want to offend you, but here's the audition analysis: link link md5: cc0d17673d9bfc8fda74342f76cd33f1 *Track No04.flac I know, that these cut-offs can have other reasons than compressing (soundcard, software restrictions etc.), and I would be glad if it were so in this case. Did you do the converting by yourself or did you pass on the files from someone else? If FLAC files are shared, we all need to be sure about their integrity, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the effort and disc space. Could you please check the files? Bye, Nummer2 |
MDNA 24.10.2006 06:12 |
Have to agree with Nummer, that frequency analisis sure looks lossy to me. |
Maruga 24.10.2006 07:34 |
I'm at work now, and i can't use the AVS tools to make a Freq Analysis... i'll do it tonight. But i received that recording long ago from a trader... so now i doubt about him. |

Hi Maruga - I edited my post which now starts with a warning that this is lossy - proceed at your own risk. If people still want to download, at least they know what they are getting. |
