Brian May
Big Mama Club, Rome
5th June 1998 (287 MB)
This is a very intimate show in a small club in Rome from the Another World Promotional Tour.
Again, it's from a good quality audience recording on an Italian bootleg CD.
Here's a review from "link
"Brian did a very private show for just 50 fans (plus people of the press)
at the "Big mama" club. He played an acoustic 50 minutes set together with
Spike, Jamie, Neil, Steve Ferrone and 2 new backing vocalists.
The show began with a blues number called MAKE BELIEVE,
after which Brian kicked in a very exciting and long version of
ON MY WAY UP. Next was a strange "folk" version of DRIVEN BYYOU
( very nice) , and then the beautiful WHY DONT WE TRY AGAIN,
with the Red special making its work right!
Then TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN began, first part as a slow blues number,
part two as the original "rock" version. All fans sang along during
LET YOUR HEART RULE YOUR HEAD, followed by a slow and very touchin'
version of HAMMER TO FALL, arranged in this way as a tribute to all
the missing friends (Freddie, Cozy, ..)..a great version, believe me!
The show ends with the fast version of HAMMER,
followed by a standing ovation.
There are two tracks, the first and second parts of the show.
It tends to run together as a loose medley and I didn't want to cut it up
in case that creates any gaps or glitches.
Track One: Only Make Believe
On My Way Up
Driven By You
Why Don't We Try Again
Track Two: Tie Your Mother Down
Let Your Heart Rule Your Head
Hammer To Fall

Please post this concert!
I favor torrent since i can download from rapidshare only one time every 2 hours (mediafire qould work better).
I have an account on DIMEADOZEN, so i can post here the torrent if it's right.
Regards.
Dime acounts are hard to get but not that hard.
just keep trying for a couple of hours and you should get in.
accounts are deleted all the time.
I got mine in just a few trys during a one hour period.
Like I said i will try to post this sometime this week, and I will be uploading to rapidshare. I find it is the most reliable service. The files tend to be available for a longuer period of time and I hardly ever got a corrupted file from there.
Can you upload the show on Meadiafire (same functions as Rapidshare, but it's free and you can download 2+ file sat the same time) instead of Rapidshare?
Thank you
Rapidshare is free too, and like I said, despite the waiting periods it's the most reliable service.
just be glad I'm willing to upload this AGAIN at all instead of complaining on how I choose to do it.
I wasn't conplain you.
I've only suggested you a thing; you are free to decide how to do.
Personally, i find mediafire more relialbe than rapidshare, but hey, you ARE tham man who will upload the show, so YOU do decide.
Sorry if I seemed like an ass-hole.
Thank you again for uploading the show.
Choose the way you prefer, if the concert is available in a torrent form AND a mediafire or rapidshare-like form, then don't bother about the minority complaining, you would have done the best thing, which is allowing everyone to have access to the music, which is all is needed !!
Many thanks, take your time !
Regards,
Olivier,
France.
