Hi There
I work for a television production company in the UK called Objective North.
We are currently developing an idea for a television programme entitled Unseen Queen.
The idea of the show is to compile a load of rare footage of Queen and ideally some unique footage that has never been seen on television.
Ideally we are looking to find footage of Queen performing, being interviewed and if possible backstage and in actuality.
I've been asked to post on message boards to find out firstly if anyone out there has any footage that they think might be of interest to us and also if anyone knows of any companies or individuals who own footage of the Queens that would be suitable for our programme.
Any help or advice you could offer would be greatfully received
Many thanks
Try TV Globo From Brasil. Queen Toured there in 1981 and 1984, so it´s possible that they have something of interest.
If you want rare material contact TV stations from the countries they´ve toured in the past.
If you don´t want to search outside Englang, try the TV stations from your country.
For material from the fans, go to Youtube and search the videos, and then email the poster of the video asking for the footage.
Or you can try these links from this Site: link link
Good Luck!
Take care
Watanabe production might have some source.
The films in Japan from 1975(with tea ceremoney) was originally tooked by Watanabe production - which used to be a promoter of Queen. That was 8mm film and we used had a film concert.

Not all,I got some interviews from the Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires, look:
"Some years ago, the master tape containing the first third of the concert (up to Fat Bottomed Girls) was discovered 'in a pile of old archive material saved from a fire' still in pristine conditions. This video tape contained four audio tracks: a stereo pair direct from soundboard and another pair with the isolated announcer comments. Part of the discovered footage was previewed in a TV special."taken from Queenconcerts.com
