I wen't to a little store by the sea which sells all sorts of music, and on my last visit to the area I noticed the store was selling all Queen albulms for ten dollars. So the other day I went there and found that A Day At The Races and Sheer Heart Attack were gone, and Queen II and Jazz remained. I bought Jazz, as I didn't want to go home with out a new Queen albulm. When I first played the albulm, I didn't know what to think, I liked the different sounds that Brian was making with the Red special, and it sounded very fresh (I prefer the seventies songs to the eightees, so I decided to leave the seventies records till last, so I have been listening to AKOM (love it, Works and all those albulms,as well as ANATO and Queen). I wanted to know what you guys would have bought, and what are you're responses to Jazz. I think it's a great albulm, not very comercial for most of the songs, but to me that is part of Queens brilliance, they make great music, some of which is more accessible than others for wide audiances, and they still sell millions of records. But saying this I don't exactly know how it went on the charts and that,
All comments and thoughts welcome!,

Hi Bo Rap,
Me again.
Well i was in to the 80;s stuff from day one. Works, Mirical, A,K,O,M. then Innuendo.
When i got in the 70's stuff... I must say... interesting. Mind you early teens was when this happended. But i must say, i love Jazz, Its a awsome album. Queen 2?? awsome... I suppose each queen album i could listen to over and over again in a day. So i cant pin point which ones i like,, they are all tops... its what ever mood im in.
Dunno ... I've got a soft spot for Jazz, but there are some weak points there. 'Dreamer's Ball' is my second favourite Queen song but not my favourite recording - I'd have preferred it with Brian on lead vocals. I think production's better on Queen II, but both albums can offer something the other doesn't: there's nothing in Jazz like 'White Queen' or 'Masterstroke' but there's nothing in II like 'Leaving Home' or 'Don't Stop Me'.
Queen II.
Sad thing is some of the songs on Jazz would have been better if they were heavier, like If You Can't Beat Them and More of That Jazz. Jealousy is garbage. I can't believe they released that in the USA as a single (same with Pain is So Close To Pleasure). What the hell were they thinking???

I love both albums, but I can't choose. I'd probably find an ATM or something and get some cash. If I had to chhose, it'd probably be ...Queen II. I really like 'em both, though.
