Queen Rosemont, IL, USA Rosemont Horizon September 19th, 1980 Lineage: AUD > Master (Technics RS-686DS) > WAV > CDR (2) > WAV > FLAC frontend level 8 I received this recording directly from the taper himself, so it simply can't get any better than this! It's a truly excellent recording. I can't see why anyone would want to distribute anything else from this date, as this version renders all the others obsolete. It is my goal that this share accomplishes exactly that. This is one of my personal favourites. A fantastic concert. Enjoy! Disc 1: 1. Intro 2. Jailhouse Rock 3. We Will Rock You (fast) 4. Let Me Entertain You 5. Play The Game 6. Mustapha 7. Death On Two Legs 8. Killer Queen 9. I'm In Love With My Car 10. Get Down Make Love 11. You're My Best Friend 12. Save Me 13. Now I'm Here 14. Dragon Attack 15. Now I'm Here (reprise) 16. Fat Bottomed Girls Disc 2: 1. Love Of My Life 2. Keep Yourself Alive / Roger Taylor timpani solo 3. Brian May guitar solo 4. Brighton Rock (finale) 5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 6. Bohemian Rhapsody 7. Tie Your Mother Down 8. Another One Bites The Dust 9. Sheer Heart Attack 10. We Will Rock You 11. We Are The Champions 12. God Save The Queen Please disregard the attached torrent files, as I couldn't get them to work. Use the rapidshare links here (all 9 parts): link link link link link link link link link DO NOT CONVERT THIS RECORDING TO MP3/WMA/OGG or any other lossy format, unless it's for your OWN use, and nobody else's. If you want an mp3 recording of this show, then find an older share of an inferior version. The quality of this version must be maintained. If I discover that this version was converted to a lossy format, then I will NEVER share a thing here again. It goes without question that one should include the lineage information when distributing this recording. This is how people can be certain they are receiving the best version possible. |

Thank you very much, but as I can't do torrents, could someone put this on rapidshare or megaupload please? |
928 08.10.2006 05:59 |
If the tracker is down guys ,use a proggy called U-Torrent to connect as you will then by-pass the tracker & connect to the peers via DHT. It even has a torrent maker built in. |
YourValentine 08.10.2006 07:09 |
The torrent file has not been uploaded to the tracker, Bob. To share the files via tracker you must upload the torrent file from your hard drive to the QZ tracker via this upload site: link Please register as an uploader, you can start seeding immediately. you can monitor your torrent through the "My Torrents" site on the tracker url. After uploading the torrent file you must start seeding in your BitTorrent client. |

This is what it says in the sticky: UPLOAD YOUR FILE TO THE QUEENZONE.COM TRACKER: Go to the following URL to upload your .torrent file to the queenzone.com tracker: link --------------- In MakeTorrent, I specified this URL. If I try to access that page in Firefox, it asks me for a username and password... and my QZ username and password doesn't work. I then tried to access the URL Barbara suggested, and the website gives me this message: d14:failure reason17:info hash missinge Help! |

Poor Bob! ;-) You do realise that you just HAVE to get this to work, right? Otherwise your crusade for FLAC and torrents will all have been in vain. Especially after calling everybody that doesn't know how to handle FLAC stupid! ;-))) |

Maruga 08.10.2006 11:22 |

" - link - Tracker Response OK, reannounce in 300 s " seems to be fine but still connecting and no activity at all |
Sithmarauder 08.10.2006 11:47 |
It looks good from here but no download activity. Are you seeding the torrent? I f you want to upload a new torrent you need to create one with a slightly different name. |

Sir GH

ah yeah
wrote: 13 people have downloaded the file, and still no uploading. I'm sure I did everything right this time! I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with this...maybe you didnt select correctly the folder containing your flac files at your client, for example, if you have the folder Queen-Chicago80-master-FLAC inside C:then to start seeding you must select C:\ in the search for source dialog as path containing your folder with the flac files. don't select C:\Queen-Chicago80-master-FLAC as path, just C:\ since your sharing also the folder, not just the flac files |
The Real Wizard 08.10.2006 11:50 |
I'm definitely seeding the correct folder. The problem is, I need to upload the new torrent file to the tracker website or whatever, and it won't let me! |

Sir GH Did you make any changes to the file your sharing such a name on the file AFTER you created the torrent? |
The Real Wizard 08.10.2006 12:00 |
Sithmarauder wrote: Sir GH Did you make any changes to the file your sharing such a name on the file AFTER you created the torrent? Not at all. I even tried downloading the tracker file from the tracker site I uploaded it to, opened it in bit-torrent, started seeding, and that still does not work. |
YourValentine 08.10.2006 12:04 |
Since Sithmarauder's torrent works fine it's not the tracker this time. Here is one common mistake (believe me - I have made ALL possible mistakes in BitTorrenting) To seed the file you must load the torrent file into your client and then choose the SAME folder when the client asks you where to store the torrented files (destination) For example if you have the files stored into a directory C:\flac\Chicago_1980 you must specify C:\flac as download folder when loading the torrent into your client. The client will check the files for completeness (hash) and start seeding. |

The Real Wizard 08.10.2006 12:07 |
Okay, I know I've done everything right. In bit-torrent, it slowly went from 0 to 100%... as if it's checking the files or something. That took about 2 or 3 minutes. Now it's done. At the tracker site, it says 14 people are connected to me, and still not one byte has been uploaded. I give up. I have to leave for the day anyway. But if this is the amount of trouble it takes, then forget it. I know computers pretty well. I studied software engineering for two years. But this is ridiculous... I spent 2 hours on this, and if it can't get working in that amount of time, then I'll stick with rapidshare. |

Sir GH, when you created the torrent did you happen to save the torrent IN the file folder you are sharing or did you save it outside the file folder you are sharing? The torrent should be save to outside the file folder you are sharing. |

Hey *I* can create torrents! And I am the King of Dorkness when it comes to anything related to computers!! Just don't ever ever ever sell your soul to that horrendous rapidshare shit! That's nice for a single track or something. But downloading a part of a show and then having to wait 1,5 hours for the next and this Lord knows how many more times is just the worst... I always end up with half shows, jst because I don't have the time/patience/remembrance... bla bla bla. Maybe you should try the 'how to make a torrent'-guide on Dime?! That's what did the trick for me! |

I don't know, maybe I'm behind a firewall and I don't know it. In BitTorrent, I'm always seeding three things at a time, and I can only upload up to 10kbps, even though I have a blazing fast cable connection, and have specifed the maximum uploading speed. One of these files I'm seeding is the 6-7-86 new source from last month, but I don't appear on the list at queenzone.no-ip.com, and it's not uploading. I'm going to share this Chicago 80 master on Rapidshare because I'm fed up with trying to torrent it. Maybe I'll try again with another show in the next couple days. Any further advice? Thanks for all the help so far. |

I don't know for sure but on queeenconcerts.com it says that's the same source as chicago '78 - so it's audience recording by the owner of the venue. |

Shooter wrote: I don't know for sure but on queeenconcerts.com it says that's the same source as chicago '78 - so it's audience recording by the owner of the venue. And that's simply not true. Just because a website on the Internet says so doesn't make it true. It was recorded by a regular fan from the audience. I know this because I got it directly from him. The lineage in the first post of the topic says it's from the master recording, to cd, to FLAC. |
