Hi... I would like to continue with this Sheer FLAC Attack! This is the infamous concert in Hannover on September 22nd, 1984. This was the night that Freddie fell and hurt his leg during Hammer to Fall. The show had to be shortened due to this. I don't know who shared this in the first place. If I knew, I would mention his name and acknowledge his or her contribution. I got it off the Queen Hub (maybe). Artist: Queen City: Hannover, Germany Venue: Europahalle Date: September 22nd, 1984 Lineage (confirmed by original poster): mastertape->cassette(2)->Cool Edit Pro->WAV->FLAC (Flac frontend level 8) This is (to our knowledge) the best source available from this show. CD1 1) Machines (intro) 2) Tie Your Mother Down 3) Under Pressure 4) Somebody To Love 5) Killer Queen 6) Seven Seas Of Rhye 7) Keep Yourself Alive 8) Liar 9) Impromptu 10) It's A Hard Life 11) Mustapha Intro / Dragon Attack 12) Improvisation / Now I'm Here 13) Is This The World We Created 14) Love Of My Life CD 2 1) Stone Cold Crazy 2) GREAT KING RAT 3) Spike's Keyboard Solo 4) Brighton Rock Solo 5) Brighton Rock 6) Another One Bites The Dust 7) Hammer To Fall (Freddie falls and injures himself) 8) Bohemian Rhapsody 9) We Will Rock You 10) We Are The Champions 11) God Save The Queen If this is indeed the best version available, please DO NOT CONVERT TO MP3 OR ANY LOSSY FORMAT, except for personal use. Enjoy! Part 1 link Part 2 link Part 3 link Part 4 link |

Lineage: mastertape->cassette(2)->Cool Edit Pro->WAV->FLAC (Flac frontend level 8)So, which of the two is it? First generation or second generation? Who wrote the info file where it says first generation? These things matter. :) Thanks for the share. |

The one that reads "First generation" comes from the original poster. I don't know who this person is. The correction was made and it was indicated as a (2) because, according to Joachim (tatterdemalion), there is no 1st generation tape of this show available. I know these things matter and I would like to have it corrected with your help if there is, indeed, a mistake. |

So it is you, Mr. Quinn, the original uploader, right? hehe :). Then it is you the one that should be properly thanked. I used the "search" function and I didn't find anything with the word "Hannover" in it, so I uploaded it. Maybe we could contact the person you got it from and find out if it is the same source that Tatterdemalion mentions and if it is, indeed, a secong gen and not a first gen. Wiley |

WileyWell, when I posted it here originally, I finally got the response that it is a 2nd gen instead of a first, so I assume that information is correct. I can believe that the original torrent isn't available here anymore; I posted it little under a year ago, I think. |

hello how are you |
thomasquinn 32989 07.10.2006 16:45 |
Now that was random. |
Wiley 07.10.2006 17:11 |
Haha, yes, it was random indeed. :) Anybody cares to discuss or comment anything about this show? haha :P. I don't think anybody does this ever. I don't have the recording with me right now (I'm on a friend's house) but I might post something else about it later. I didn't use to like this tour but now it has kinda grown on me. Some of the shows where Freddie's voice was not shit were actually very good. I don't like the fact that they cut Somebody to love but their "early rockers" medley is great. What do you think? |
thomasquinn 32989 07.10.2006 17:17 |
The drum-sound sucks, but the setlist is quite good for the Works-tour. |
fernandosales 11.10.2006 11:16 |

There are many poor Works shows, either because of Freddie's damaged voice, or because of Brian/Roger's uninspired playing. But there are many good shows as well! |

This has already been shared as a torrent - I have the torrent but cannot find the original post. I'll post it a separate thread. |
