is quitting smoking included? he prolly drank some medicines... plus, i don't think that he was able to do those things coz he was weak, plus he didn't want any media attention. accdg. to some of the stuff i read, the only time he left his home in london was during recording sessions, and other very important functions. but then again, i may be wrong. :) |

He took medications as long as he could stand it until it just wasn't helping and he was ready to go, then he stopped. But more importantly, I think the biggest example of what he did to fight was simply to keep working as much as he could for as long as he could. That counts, right? :) He didn't give up until it was physically impossible for him to fight anymore. |

Sorry Fairy King, when I said 'was that meant to be humourus' I meant it in a general term, I didn't know if it was a joke or not, my stupidity, so a gain my apologies. As for the typo in my name, when I logged in it kept saying that the correct spelling of the song title was not allowed, I can't recall why exactly, probably because someone else was using it. Well the guy coped for about 4 years with the disease, 2 of those years were chock-full of hard work, so yeah brave man was Freddie and he 'fought' for as long as he could, he quit smoking, drinking and took medication but came off that. BTW, what's this about running? Freddie had AIDS, it wasn't a 'time of the month? A little gentle exercise might help!' kind of advert for Always Ultra!!! |

And he actually didn't fight as long as he could, he decided to let his body decide it's destiny. Not trying to argue at all, just stating the facts, btw, Freddie did not quit smoking until he was not able to smoke. There are captions of him smoking in 1990, i think they were on IGSM or TATDL vid outtakes. But whoever said something about him running... lol What good would that do for the most Deadly Immune System Disease? |
