Got my copy this morning.
WOW!
It's full of photos I've never seen published before - NOT!!!
Glad I had an amazon gift voucher, causei It isn't worth £18.
It was never going to be worth ANYTHING. No annotations for the quote printed which means you have no idea of what context the particular comment was made in etc etc.
Good old Greg - yet another project he's involved in that has no substance....
At the end of the day, the book has to cater for the general public, not just the fans. That's probably why there are no annotations.
It's just typical that, like the album that's full of shit dance remixes, it caters MORE to the public than the fans :(
I notice that the Brazilian extended mix of Living On My Own STILL hasn't been released on CD.
Everyone knows it exists (I have an original vinyl copy), but it got left off the freddie boxset 6 years back and now it's been ignored for this new album, which was probably the last best chance to complete the freddie collection.
Why would the general public care about a bunch of quotes by Freddie Mercury when they don't even know what he is talking about. And even if it was meant for the general public, that is no excuse for making it completely useless for the core customers, the fans.
(please Greg, it's NOT personal, no need to start another thread about my post count)
