Interesting answers we shall see here, i'm sure. Where do you think you would be today without Queen in your life? Think back now to all the times and things that have happened because of a certain song....a certain event....a certain person. |
deleted user 02.10.2006 21:43 |
I would.... I have NO earthly idea. I might still be obsessed with Japan - I believe that Queen took the place of Japan in my heart. Hopefully, I would have realised that Japan is just another place on Earth (albiet with nice cherry trees). I might be fat. I have probably walked over one-hundered collective miles to get to CD places and things. But - if the question were "Where do you think you would be now if you never got into David Bowie ?" - the answer would be far worse. I would probably still like Top 40 or something awful like that. |

I always listen to "You and I" and "You Take My Breath Away" when I am feeling sad. Those Queen songs and many others helped me when my Uncle was fighting cancer, my parents were getting a divorce, and many other situations. I would be one sad puppy without Queen. I don't care if that sounds childish because we all have songs that cheer us up. :) |
eenaweena 02.10.2006 22:03 |
i'd be either stone cold crazy or just very slightly mad. |
DeeEmm 03.10.2006 00:44 |
I would be exactly the same, except without all the Queen CDs. |
mike hunt 03.10.2006 00:54 |
I wouldn't be on this dumb ass site! |
I♥The80's 03.10.2006 01:47 |
I would be missing out A LOT....lol ;P But seriously, I'd probably be living my regular, BORING, dull life with nothing other than classical music and some random crap songs every now and then.... Thank GOD for leading me to discover Queen :D |
FreMe 03.10.2006 02:10 |
I would listen to the crap music they make today (so as Fergie, Justin Timberlake, and some danish wannabe-musicians) and I would have felt even worse about the 80' hair I've ended up with (GROW HAIR, GROW!!!).. I would'nt draw as good as I do today (All that fan art, :D), and I would know much less about how things where going on, back in the 70' and 80', plus I would have no idea about how the music buisness is working.. And I would have a lot more money to spend on candy and junk-food, since I did'nt really have a hobby before Queen.. Yep, Queen has sure given me a lot! :D.. Oh, and my english is SO much better than it was before Freddie and Queenzone. :,) |
dtucra 03.10.2006 03:25 |
In a psychiatric unit, with a tough depression of my own to fight. I'm still in a psy unit, only that I am the doc this days and I speak English so very much better. And I'm much more tolerant and open-minded. |
Moon Godess 03.10.2006 04:17 |
well, ok my english adjectives would be very boring (thanks to Freddie, they got very better),10ks to Queen... I got to know different persons, I have gay friends (who are very ok to me)and began understanding their point of view and I'm not the depressed, geek that I was before. Queen helped me through when my papa was dying, I used to cry all day before I discovered about Freddie's death (it consoled mea) and the msgs in their songs gave me courage and will to carry on |
FriedChicken 03.10.2006 06:02 |

mike hunt wrote: I wouldn't be on this dumb ass site!Very, true, very true...;D. I dunno, I've only been into Queen for less than a year but I can't imagine life without them, I guess the fact that I have an individual taste in music amongst my friends gives me confidence to speak out et cetera. |
flash! 28068 03.10.2006 12:45 |
Dangerously close to having the full collection of Wings and The Beatles albums. I'm working my way to getting them though. And the fact that i would be on some other music forum and not on here (where i've met some fabulous people) I don't think i would ever not be attracted to Queen. I'm glad their music is in my life. It's my only form of relaxation. |
Micrówave 03.10.2006 13:59 |
I'd probably be in jail, or a junkee or something. or an Ordained Minister. |
Killer Queenie 03.10.2006 14:14 |
Listening to tastless music! Namely things like Girls Aloud and all the other shit we have |
deleted user 03.10.2006 16:43 |
Queen taught me more about music, and Queen makes me happy. So I guess I would be unhappy and ignorant in music. Probably would have a lot more money though, for not buying all those albums...ah well who needs money when I have Queen. |
Poo, again 03.10.2006 16:53 |
I'd still be madly obsessed with the Beatles. |
Gone. 03.10.2006 16:59 |
Oh wow. :0..My life would be blank, suicidal..and hopeless. God Save The Queen. :D |
sara310 03.10.2006 18:16 |
I don't even want to know ! I listened to Dream Street the same year I discovered Queen, but you can't really slaughter me because I was...11. |
Hooligan's Holiday 03.10.2006 18:27 |
I'd have never watched Wayne's World, never leading me to watch the sequel, meaning I'd never hear Shut Up And Dance (because me dad HATES that song), and I'd never get into Aerosmith (the BEST band in the world EVER!), meaning I'd me screwed music-wise. Oh yeah, then my room'd be pretty empty... ^^;;; |
The prophet's song 03.10.2006 19:31 |
I'd be a sad sack listening to the crap that's played on the radio nowdays (heaven forbid), and like the post above, my room too would be pretty empty. |
L-R-TIGER1994 03.10.2006 19:39 |
I would be a stinking fucking wanker motherfucker like I am now but without listening to Queen |
stringsrmagicalzey 03.10.2006 21:18 |
Hello: Mmmm, interesting question. Queen has had such a huge inflence in my life...I really dunno, but surely I would have not chosen my second career ,and therefore I would have not met the extraordinary people I have bumped into through the years; and most important, I would have not enjoyed their magnificent musical ideas. Fortunately they were and they still are a vital part of my life. |
galileo_figaro_magnifico 04.10.2006 15:22 |
i would be listening to Simple Plan, Yellowcard....the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack.......stuff from today!! *shiver* if Bohemian Rhapsody were a person, i would MARRY it for saving me and shedding the light we know as Queen on me....i wouldnt have quite as many friends..i have bonded with several pple over Queen...my parents wouldn't think im weird...i would be going as something lame for Halloween...i would have been spared a million less tears over Freddie Mercury... |
Poo, again 04.10.2006 15:31 |
If I never got into Queen I'd still be a HETEROSEXUAL. |
Oberon 05.10.2006 04:48 |
Still listening to Shakin' Stevens (shudders...) |

Take a beautiful Minnesota October day. Drive to the A&W rootbeer stand. Order a large rootbeer float that comes in the frosty mug with vanilla soft-serve billowing high above the rim and sending melting rivulets of ice cream down the outside of the glass that drip on your clothes and on the car insides. Slowly sip and spoon away, and see the tiny ice cream crystals that float in the glass because the ice cream and the rootbeer are so delightfully cold. Squirt a small amount of mustard on each of the eight, hot, corn dog nuggets that steam and slightly burn your tongue as you bite into them. Crank The Miracle cd up as loud as you can stand it, feel the car shake, and let that wonderful Queen sound fill your every pore. Life is good! It doesn't get much better than this. |

I'd probably be in a hospital seeking mental help, because of all the rough times I've went thru and all the depression I've suffered. There were a couple of times where I was thinking of hurting myself or worse. But, everytime I heard Freddie's voice, something told me to keep going and not just throw everything away. I'm so thankful that I grew up with Queen, because I think they saved my life. |

With out Queen I'd be lost! I probably wouldn't have a band and I'd probably still just like The Beatles and Show Tunes. I'd have no passion for anything! I love Queen it's been life changing. |
Vincent. 05.12.2006 17:38 |
I'd still be listening to *gulp* NEW MUSIC! AAAAHHH! No, I'd be listening to Green Day and Fall Out Boy and other horrible punk bands... :( I'd have never gotten into the beatles or the doors :( i'd have no wardrobe because half of my shirts are classic rock t-shirts. i'd be sad. :( |

I'd probably be endlessly bored and emo all the time. |
Neppset 08.01.2007 16:27 |
Hmmm... I would probably not be into music at all. Without Queen I would probably be a depressed loser (you don't know how many times Don't Stop Me Now has cheered me up), I would possibly be a terrible homophob... Yeah. Without this band I would be a little nothing. |
haryanto chandra 10.01.2007 05:05 |

Kensington Love 12.01.2007 03:02 |
I would be collecting the albums of my other favourites. I can't imagine not loving Queen as I do,though. It was quite a natural thing for me...hearing Freddie's lovely voice at an impressionable age and loving the sound of it. And being on here with the people that love Queen as much as I do. It always lifts my spirits to listen to Queen's fab music, and Freddie is my inspiration every day. ;) |
