SNL is amazing, and I didn't see the whole season premiere last night, but Dane Cook was FUNNY. He wore a Flash Gordon tee during his improv. Oh, and the Killers were on, too. I used to not like that type of music, but I started liking Ferdinand (still not a dedicated fan, however) and the Killers... Anyway, the Killers were really good, and after I crashed for ten minutes, an old SNL came on with Cameron Diaz and Smashing Pumpkins, which was funny. Yeah, so did anyone else see either episode?

Unfortunately, I missed it, but I'm sure it will re-play at some point. I've been a Killers fan ever since their first album. I'll be buying their upcoming album on opening day, for sure. I wish I could see them again live, but they aren't touring near me.
It was OK....Still nothing compared to the heydays of the early/mid 90's of Mike Myers, Adam Sandler and one of my all time favorite actors, Chris Farley.
I do love the late 70's early 80's as well.
Latly there just does not seem to be any "You know some one here will make it big" Talent.

SNL hasn't been funny since the 80s. They damn wish they had at least one cast member as funny as Dane Cook, but they haven't had a true comedian in ages. So guests like Dane Cook are as close as SNL will get to have someone on the show.
It might be a tiny bit less unfunny now that Tina Fey took her atrocious lame jokes somewhere else.
