Bronchial Pneumonia is the most common, but some can die just from getting a cold or the flu, their immune system is that bad. :( But the cold they get usually leads to some kind of a Bronchial or some other Repiratory problem.
Smoking really is BAD for one's immune system, so that is why Freddie quit.

What the hell is that?
It is actually spelled "Bronchial" NOT "Bronco"
As i said in my post. But anyways,
Bronchial pneumonia is when the pneumonia spreads to several patches in one or both lungs. It is caused by various bacteria, including Streptococcus pneumoniae. Bronchial pneumonia involves the alveoli contiguous to the larger bronchioles of the bronchial tree. In bronchial pneumonia, the infection or inflammation is not confined to a single anatomic location.. In either case, the disorder typically causes a cough (with or without mucus), chest pain, rapid breathing, and shortness of breath. Fever, sweats, a headache, and weakness are usually present.
Hope that helps :)

How Horrible.
Thank-you for telling me to, I feel kinda smart because I know that.
Yeah, AIDS isn't the actual source of death. It's helping other diseases to kill.
Breaking down the immune defence (or whatever it's called in english :b).
My dad has a disease, which is quite similar to AIDS - though, he'll eventually stop producing blood, and then... you figure it out.
to people who say AIDS itself doesnt kill you, just to give the WHOLE picture, the virus AIDs itself actually CAN kill you by eventually attacking your brain an nervous system.
So, if you have AIDs and as result of it something else doesnt kill you, AIDs itself eventually will.
Sad isnt it.
Aids kills your immune system.
Your body cannot heal anything!!!
That's why in Jim's book he says Freddie had an open wound on his leg and it never healed.
Freddie's coughing became unbearable because of smoking and Brian May kept complaining about all the smoke in the studio so he quit.

He realized he had AIDS in 1987. There's footage of him smoking during behind the scenes of 'Breakthru' and I think someone mentioned behind the scenes of Days Of Our Lives, on Queen rocks, shows Freddie with a cigarette.
