I know the songs on the last few albums were credited to "Queen" rather than individually, so those don't count as far as my question goes. I am paying more attention to who wrote what, and I am amazed at how many songs Brian wrote - the greater share? Please factor in A and B side single releases as well.
Freddie was the sole dominant composer in all of the albums, except Races (co-dominant with Brian), Game (co-dominant with Brian) and News (Brian wrote one more). So of course he'd got the biggest share.
Flash Gordon has more songs credited to Brian, but mostly they're reprises from Flash, so we shouldn't count them. Same for some Fred reprises as Seven Seas ... in Queen (I) and Seven Seas in Queen II.
I'm taking a guess here...
Brian: 40
Freddie: 39
Roger: 20
John: 9
I honestly have no clue. :-P...It's possible to tell the percentage...but in a more GENERALIZED statement... :D
I see the level of debate has not improved since my last visit...

If anyone cares, they can continue, and John will go up in percent certainly in the 80's.
If something's off, please don't flame me !
