And if that isn't pathetic enough of a statement about our severe and shocking lack of taste in good music, then wait and find out that even a very late release is fortunate considering it will bomb here anyway. Freddie's solo songs have never, nor will they ever surface in the USA as hits, but hey, this is the country that awarded 2(maybe even 3) #1 hits for multiple weeks on a number #1 charted album by Milli Vanilli. Hell, they even won at the Grammys.
WOAH, it's so much cheaper there! I suppose that's because they're waiting for so long to release it in the U.S. It costs like almost 40 bucks if you want to buy it now, but I guess that's because it's imported...
I've all ready bought mine at a US store..... it was in stock and everything. I bought it from Newbury Comics in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
$24.99 to be exact.

Freddie's 'I Was Born To Love You' and 'Love Kills' were classified as dance hits.

Yeah, and so was You Don't Fool Me. And I still say, never once, at least at any dance club or station or anything else in Texas, have I EVER heard any of these songs. The only Freddie solo I have heard on the radio before is 'Barcelona'.
Just thinking about it another moment... HOW IN THE WORLD IS 'Love Kills' a dance song???

Love Kills is a dance song due to the beats in the song, classifies it as a disco song.
Freddie's 'I Was Born To Love You' was actually on the radio a lot when it was released... according to Billboard. It was like the #1 most added track to dance/pop radio stations playlists.

here in Texas it came out sept 12th. :/
What you guys are finding in stores are called imports. If it says EMI, Parlophone, etc, then it's an import. Hollywood Records is the exclusive U.S. record company for this and 99% of all Queen related stuff.
I got mine from Japan (2 disc version) a few weeks back. And my DVD and damaged book from the U.K.
BTW, the Japanese DVD isn't due until November 15, so the U.S. isn't necessarily the last to get stuff...
