Does it happen in your countries, too - that they already sell Christmas cookies in each and every supermarket?
We are lucky to have a beautiful warm late summer, the sun is shining and I see chocolate Santas in the shops... By the end of October they are shortly replaced by Halloween stuff and then return. At this point I am already fed up by just looking at them for months.
Seeing as we don't really have Halloween over here it is usually replaced by that fucking stupid Christmas in July thing which is moronic 'cause who gives a shit about snow in Christmas? You want snow, Australia? Fuck the fuck off to Sweden or..fucking Finland!
But yes, my mum works at the local Coles and she says that they get their Christmas stock in around June/not too long after Easter.
Ludicrous.

Well you may fuck the fuck off to Finland, but tomorrows prediction is over or near 20C in most of the counry and sunshine. Snow in September? That would be a first.
And as far as which season we're having, certainly not Christmas. It's officially INDIAN SUMMER for me. That calls for a bit of Joe Walsh and a small sing-a-long.
Yes it happens in the UK, i already see Kinder and Cadbury's Christmas chocolate selection boxes around some shops.
Just give it a month and they'll have the lights, Santa's grotto etc. lol
It completely ruins the atmosphere for Christmas, for me personally.
Can I confess? I bought Christmas wrap two weeks ago. I almost weakened and bought a new set of ornaments for the tree, too, but I didn't. Buying Santa paper seemed like enough holiday fun for early September.
But yeah, it's normal here. We have 'back to school' supplies right next to Halloween candy and Thanksgiving decorations, and then one aisle over are the Christmas lights and accessories. Meanwhile, it's 70 and sunny outside. Go figure.
No Christmas things being sold around here. THANKFULLY!!
(Although I can't wait til the grocery stores put eggnog on the shelves:))
But Halloween stuff has made its first appearance on the shelves like in the end of August which is still waaaay too soon.
Here in Venezuela we have already all the department stores for Christmas ornaments. They start at the end of August... so it's normal here to have an early christmas :P.
And we have a traditional kind of music for Christmas called "Gaitas". They're very catchy, but lately they start to be played at the end of July :S.
