Hey...
I was reading a magazine, and it said YouTube got some money some time ago, a few million bucks, but since then they haven't got any money, there's no project to make YouTube make its own money, and right now no one has announced any donation.
Will YouTube last long? It must be VERY expensive to keep enough servers to host all those videos and load them at a satisfactory speed.

I read the article on a brazilian magazine. Info Exame, not sure if it was the July or August 2006 edition.
Are they really showing trailers now?
Are you sure they weren't just uploaded by regular users?

Agreed. Youtube is the best site to watch retro TV show episodes---although copyright infringement is wrong---and Queen videos as well. YouTube totally rules, man!

Yeah, girl, I seriously love it...I'd be willing to pay for it if I had to (depends on the price, like $10 a month wouldnt be bad to me at all, but thats my thought on it) but I hope that it remains free, free is the best price!! LOL!!

This shouldn't be a problem, because you can't download the videos. Most of em are bad quality anyway. It's a great way to post videoclips and as an promotional tool for bands and advertising commercials. The companies shouldn't fight YouTube, but use it.
