Poor child, no wonder he wrote back, being nicknamed buckwheat!
Okok, in all seriousness, that was a good article

It is, but thats what happens. How many close friends from say elementary or high school do you think will be your frend in 20 years?
that's the thing, it only works if both people are willing to make the effort. i'm still close friends with a girl i met when we were 5, and we haven't seen each other in four years...so it's definitely possible. yes, sometimes people just grow apart...but i think this guy was right when he said that freddie had moved on, emotionally. and from his interviews, you can tell that he wanted to just leave everything about his childhood in the past. including friends.

Thats 100% true. Freddie just didnt want it. I can see his point in some ways, but its still sad.

Maybe that's why they later called him Bucky. We all thought it was because of his teeth, maybe it was just short for Buckwheat. Though, the 'why' of Buckwheat remains unanswered...
My Pretty Dictionary Sez :1 : any of a genus (Fagopyrum of the family Polygonaceae, the buckwheat family) of Eurasian herbs with alternate leaves, clusters of apetalous pinkish-white flowers, and triangular seeds; especially : either of two plants (F. esculentum and F. tartaricum) cultivated for their edible seeds
2 : the seed of a buckwheat used as a cereal grain.
If there's some other meaning, I don't know. I mean, this dictionary is pretty spiffy, but it doesn't know everything.
Also, no one fucked up before 1945. That's just not the way they did things.
Nah, nowadays they would want a DNA test.
Plus, I look a lot more like the love-child of Roger and John than anything to do with Freddie.
Ah ! That's it - I'm John Deacon's love-child. See, no one will be able to find him to get his DNA to compare ! Oh... wait... who do I know that knows who he is ?
I WILL send you a hair snd saliva sample, just to prove you wrong.
...Hey does any one know a site where I can get some of Deacon's hair and/or saliva? I need them for a science fair project on... missing people.
Wow, I actually got a response to my first QZ forum posting... And, since I have no life (like the rest of you), I am now sitting here waiting for another response.
P.S. The hair sample is from when i nopped off my long locks before the ADATR tour. HA! How do ya like THEM APPLES!!??
