33 years ago, like around this time, Chile started to live under a dictatorship, one of the worst dicatorships ever.
Around this time, chilean air force bombed the government palace, known as La Moneda, also president Salvador Allende killed himself, and then it started the hunting of every communist or any that supported president Allende.
Around this time my father was locked on his company, he was member of the Union, and he was almost killed or sent to exile, so two choices: i wouldn't had been born, or i would had born in Australia. Pinochet wanted to send my father to Australia, my dad refused, because he wanted to stay here with my family and fight agains the dicatorship.
I don't support what Allende did here, but neither what Pinochet did, this last made a lot more of bad things: killed a lot of people, took the country to a huge economic crisis, wanted to stay more time with power, was and is a thief, etc.
This is just a lesson for everybody that the socialist dream it's just that, a dream, and don't make mistakes to suffer any kind of dictatorship, right wing or left wing... We have to live in peace with each other.
