Hi Queen fans,
I'm getting the BM Left Handed guitar for my b'day-xmas pressent as I'm a New Years Day birthday boy, with all the rest of the RS stuff pedal and amp.
but I'm not sure of where I can get a good amp - vox brand or other brand - or even a left handed case for this great guitar.
Can someone help me please.
If you know of any in the UK it would be a great help as I'm a person who lives in the UK.
Please oh Please could someone offer me a few words of advise.
Take care,
mittybitty
Best amp - AC30.
If you're not going to spend that much money, I would go for a Laney AC15 (much smaller, yet similarly wired version of the AC30) or a Laney Tube Fusion amp. I've had successes getting nice combinations of these amps with mah Red Special, should sound fine.
PS. Perhaps this'd be better in General or Serious Discussion.
Have fun with the new guitar. :P

Nice way to respond to a post in the wrong thread
Zebonka12.
Some people here can get nasty.
GO for a Laney vc30 as a cheaper option if you can afford a vox get a vox ac30cc2x. As for cases i would get in touch with house music or try gak in brighton, you should find a case no probs
1: The neck is fatter than you might be used to if you usually play on something like a Fender.
The neck is a shorter scale somewhat close to that of a Gibson, but it's still 24 frets, so this also has an impact on the way I play the thing.
I recommend keeping the action on the strings very low (as in - the strings stay close to the fingerboard).
2: No special cable required, just a quarter-inch jack lead. Thing.

How easy is it to learn on chord wise for starters on the BM RS as I've only used the sunburts fender.
Red Special is just a regular guitar with interesting wiring, dude. It's not like a sitar or nothin' - whatever chords you're playing on other guitars are totally applicable anywhere else (unless you're like me and enjoy a DADGBB tuning).
Look 'em up, and Godspeed

thank you all so very very much I've taken all of your advice up on a txt document on my computer and will be looking forward to playing the guitar during the new year.
During the xmas sales..
As in my first message my birthday is NEW YEARS DAY.
Money wise I've seen that the guitar is £499.00 on most sites - which is great.
Does anyone know where I can buy the pure white combo amp. I can't find it anywhere.
