You kids act like you've never heard of this before or something.
First of all, DO NOT pay (USA) Amazon's ridiculous prices for imports. You can get this 2-CD version for under $30 delivered from other places, including directly from the UK or Japan, so shop around.
Or wait until October, when Hollywood Records will be releasing it and the DVD here.
Oh. Well, thanks for the information. Why didn't you tell me that before I posted this pointless information? I may not be a kid or teen (and I'm not acting like one), but you're right. You guys, don't encourage your parents to buy the CD from Amazon, so I'm taking this suggestion from Mikahl: let's just wait 'til October and the CD & DVD will be in stores (hopefully on iTunes). That way, you guys won't bug your parents into buying it for you. Believe me, just think about what Mikahl and I just said.
Hehe. That's because they just make up their own list price on imports. They should be ashamed! Amazon.co.uk, their own sister company, has it for 14.99 pounds but it reduces to 12.76 when you add it to the cart, and 3.08 air mail delivery. This comes to $29.71 U.S... delivered!
And I'm sure Amazon US can get even better deals in bulk, so charging $40 or more before shipping is simply ripping people off who don't know better.
The Freddie Solo Collection is another good example. Amazon wanted like $233 for it but I orded the PAL version direct from the UK for about $150 total.
I love secondspin.com! They've bought a lot of my unwanted stuff in the past and I found A Night at The Opera DVD-Audio in mint condition there when it was out of stock everywhere else.
cant someone here in the uk,ie one of us buy it here and ship it out to our u.s friends cheaper than these companies?
just a thought?
not that im volunteering!
