Hey, everybody.
Maybe this is a pointless thread, but I just thought I'd get everybody's attention to a point:
the best way to get rid of the annoying spammers is boycotting their threads. If someone starts a thread just to piss people off, to insult someone or to say shit like "I wet myself listening to Queen" and people attack them, they'll be happy. They're losers who think it's fun to annoy people on the internet.
If someone threatens you and you tell the person to stop because you're afraid, the person won.
Same about spammers: if they get your attention, they'll be happy.
So, let's stop feeding the trolls.
If you see a spam thread, ignore it. You'll be helping a lot.
Remember that threads "go down" as new threads are started. So, if we ignore the spam, it'll eventually disappear.
Thanks for your attention, and I hope at least some of you will actually think about it, although everybody should've already realised that by now.
Raf
The only problem is that the people who agree with you already ignore these posts, and the people who think you're full of shit probably won't listen to you anyway. Therefore, this thread really has no point, and thus can be tantamount to spam. Unintentional spam, we'll call it, so you can feel less guilty about it.

I totally agree. This is taken way too seriously. It IS fun to annoy people on the internet, Raf. It just is. And if that makes me a loser, I'm fine with it.

Except there's hives of spammers that feeds off each other - they post in each other's threads and mutate and grow and lure other unaware newbies in and WHAM, within moments they've became a spammer too.
So the best way to avoid them is to avoid the personals forum altogether, methinks.

i guess we can just ignore them. it saves time, and energy, and space, and brain cell usage, and maintenance, and of course, our own sanities.
