That would be my wish. Hope I didn't mislead anyone, it's not happening as of now but I just think she would be a good choice. Maybe not in the creative and writing side but as vocal ability/performance side. I don't know maybe I'm crazy. |

Have you completely lost your mind? Christina Aguilera is in a COMPLETELY different genre and field than Queen. Wow...what has this world come to? Go to a rehabilitation center, man. Those drugs could kill you! No offense or anything, of course. :P |

Would be interesting, for the most part she'd just be whoring herself around. Be like when Shakira did Back in Black. |

Agnetha Fältskog should front Queen. Lol. |
Donna13 03.09.2006 22:49 |
I think she would be good for re-recording some of the Queen songs but using her own arrangements and musicians (not with Roger and Brian) - and only if she uses her soft voice and does the more "delicate" songs. Maybe "You Take My Breath Away" or "Jealousy". Not her loud voice and up and down soul stuff - unless it was on "Somebody to Love" which might turn out OK if she could keep the extra "run" notes to a minimum. I think re-makes are a good idea sometimes - if it keeps Queen's music "out there" for new listeners to discover. Then, when they buy the real Queen music, won't they be happy! |

No offense or anything, of course. :PChristina Aguilera has nothing to do with the type of music that Queen ever played or could ever think of playing. It's totally different...besides, Queen has TALENT beyond just vocalizing well. Christina Aguilera can vocalize very well (beautifully, even), but unfortunately, our era leaves us with favoring people with beautiful voices that are not very great musicians. I may cause trouble with that statement...but it goes to show that I don't think anyone fresh and new right now could ever dream of filling Freddie's shoes. |
