I patched this together as one of my first real attempts at making an intro for an early Queen concert. It starts with the Oriental-sounding piece used during the ANATO tour as an instrumental opening, then leads into a medley of the first half (or so) of Seven Seas of Rhye and the entirety of Tie Your Mother Down. Pyrotechnics are included, because I'm all about things going "boom".

I know it's pretty bad, but I'm looking for feedback as to how to improve my technique--cutting and making it not sound that crappy is hard for someone with little experience.
its actually pretty good, but take out the second BOOM that happens at 1:56, shorten tie your mother down and add a piece of another song in. then its would be perfect in my opinion
Ok, modified it slightly by adding in Stone Cold Crazy (the entire song), shortening TYMD, and pulling a couple of the bangs out (and making the ones that stayed in slightly louder). This work better?

This is OK, but really it's just three songs knitted together. The edits are clean enough, but not all that interesting - sorry, no offence. Oh, and the first 'bang' seemed to come out of nowhere, and made me jump out of my skin! As has been suggested, maybe you could use some crowd noise, or even better, actually use the live versions of those, or some other tracks, and make a 'new' live medley!
Thanks for sharing this with us. :)
