Guyz, a while ago someone was kind enough to share what he/she considered the definitive live versions of Bo Rhap en Don't Stop Me Now, if I remember correctly Newcastle 1979.
I'm very curious what most Queenzoners feel is the best live outing of Who Wants To Live Forever? Budapest maybe?
Also remember that a lot of people prefer the On Fire At The Bowl version of Somebody To Love. That has always surprised me as Roger only has a minor vocal-contribution near the end (I mean the 'somebody toooooohooohhhhhho love, and his famous yeah is almost inaudible)...
anyway, I was asking about WWTLF, any input?
Cheerz everyone,
S.M.A.
haven't heard manheim but so far budapest is great..though for egzample more drumwork is involved in wembley..still instruments seem to sound better in budapest i think.
STL is really nice at the bowl..i somehow don't miss roger in that version :P
Freddie sings it really passionately at the Leiden 6-11/12 shows, and the Mannheim version is a great one, too. For those who have the Mannheim bootleg, I just love how Roger does the bass drum bit before Brian starts his guitar solo.
I enjoy the Earl's court version (Somebody to love)It's the only version I have heard where you can acually hear the three of them sing harmony rather than unison. Also you can hear Brian & Roger well too.

To be honest, I've always liked the Wembley 2nd night version (of Who Wants To Live Forever). Freddie's voice may not have been in top shape at times during the show but I've always rated this version very highly.
The Berlin version is good as well....except before the last chorus, Roger gets the drum bit right before "and we can have forever..." (02.55) but doesn't repeat it correctly after the first "Forever is our today..." (03.16).

It's just shame that John and Brian both don't seem to hit the notes propperly, John especially I'm affraid. :-P
