tune in to the show, to hear what people that you know (or want to know) have to tell about Freddie. Who doesnt want to hear what 'Mr Queenzone' tells? Or the words of Hiding in Public? Or the words of Jamie Moses? those and many more you can hear and hey, it is always cool to tune in to great music, what will be in between |

Hi folks I am putting the last twists to the show at the moment - but just popped in quickly to let you know: Don't forget Queenzoner's our special guest for you all in here is Richard Orchard. He finally gets to speak out about Queen. Thanks Richard for coming on the show - great to have you join in with this community project. We will also be having Alan Savage coming on the show as a special guest for you all. He has some great tales about Freddie so please don't miss this interview if you can help it. Alan has played drums for: Peter Straker : three albums & four singles, TV and tours of Europe Freddie Mercury: live and recording I am sure some Hub crew could give you exact recordings and that sort of information on Alan and his involvement with Freddie. Thanks Alan for coming on the show for the fans. Great Stuff. For those in the industry you may know of Kevin Poree (Producer, Programmer and engineer) he is based mainly in Berry Street Studio's in Central London and he has some great stuff to say also to us all. Thanks Kevin for taking the time out of your busy schedule to squeeze us in. He is a real champ. I have spoken to FM2000 and they have agreed to run the show all day our time Saturday so if you miss it Tues night they will put it on all day for you all on Sat 9th Sept 2006 Melbourne est. Not sure what the start time for the rerun is. I think when the station crew wake up and get it cranked up. If you are in London, the time according to my PDA, is that the live show will be aired Tues 5th Sept 9am London time - but someone please check this is correct for me - I never trust myself with time converters - just ask poor Loretta |

I have not even had time to tell Richard Orchard this but his interview will be the first interview to open the show with. Icarus Falls did the order of interviews and he gave Richard the opening spot. Ok so in our time in Melbourne (because I hate GMT time zones) - we will be on air 6pm Melbourne est this Tues night In the UK that is 9am Tues morning - so wag school or work for the day and stay home and tune into the show if you can. Right oh gotta fly again. More to finish off for this. We are nearly there. |

It's been a very nice show. Thanks to all those involved :) I had to laugh when the wrong version of Polar Bear was played (Smile version having nothing to do with Freddie) which was yanked midway through and replaced with Jesus. LOL |

Hi all just recovering from last nights late finish of the broadcast and the long drive home. I would like to thank Richard Orchard for supporting this show and the QueenZone Community that tuned in - If you missed the show you can retune in this Sat 9th Sept 10am Melbourne est. The down loads of the interviews uncut (apart from some) will be avaliable today sometime on link you will find them there. I hope you enjoyed the show. We did. KJ, the owner of the station, has informed me on chat: FM2000 says: my provider said it broke records at his isp FM2000 says: broke records in terms of total traffic So I would say the listeners were happy - they stayed tuned in for most if not all of the show. |
