Hello all. I'm going to post a message or letter to Brian on his soap box. The only problem is, I love so many queen songs, and I would like to tell him about ones that I like that I know he's written. Can anyone help with this? |
Sebastian 23.08.2006 22:21 |
Show Must Go On, Headlong, I Can't Live With You, Scandal, Mother Love, and the ones credited to him. |

He said once in a interview that "Play The Game" was one of his favourites of his. Tie Your Mother Down too. =) |

uh, didn't freddie write play the game? |
Bambi 24.08.2006 00:21 |
Freddie wrote play the game, it was released in the U.S.A in june 1980. and it was the first american chart single to feature a synthesizer. |

I thought Freddie wrote play the game. Did Brian write white queen? I know he wrote save me. And is the song Just one life, called just one life, or one life? I want to get all this right. I love teo toriate. He wrote that? Cool! I also love sail away sweet sister. |

Grab your Queen collection, check the liner notes, and look at who wrote songs. Piece of pie. joe+III |

From the Album Queen II brian wrote the "White side"...that means from Procession to Some day one day, but "the loser in the end"...whom composer was Roger...then the black side was tottaly made by Roger...Once I had the old vinilo (RCA Victor) One side was White and the other black..I mean the cover or package...I don´t remeber how to say that...sorry... As a matter of fact all the Heavy songs(most of them)are written by Brian...If you look at the Queen Rocks Album yuo can see almost all those songs are from Brian...(almost)... |

Marcelo_argentina 24.08.2006 13:11 |

And the night followed day and the story tellers say that the score brave souls inside, for many a lonely day sailed across the milky seas, ne'er looked back, never feared never cried, dont you hear my call though your many years away, dont you hear me calling you, write your letters in the sand for the day I take you hand in the land that our grand children knew.... I am listening to that now:P |

This isn't a stupid question. I don't think. Thanks to all who have helped. I'm blind, so of course, I can't see the print to look up what songs Brian wrote. I could have looked online somewhere of course. But I thought every would be co operative in helping. And thanks to the ones that were very helpful. Yes. I love that song. Just one life. It's beautiful. |

keep yourself alive was written by brian, right? correct me if i'm wrong. :) |
deleted user 26.08.2006 02:22 |
yes it was. that's a good one. |
eenaweena 26.08.2006 02:33 |
i know that he also wrote '39 and sang it... right? |
deleted user 26.08.2006 02:39 |
yup. except i think freddie sang it while performing live. i say "i think" because every time i'm sure of something i'm wrong:) i'm not sure which version i prefer....i usually am not a big fan of bri's voice, but in this case i feel like he's more...um...at one with the song. probably because he wrote it:) |
queen mercury 33542 26.08.2006 02:49 |
Yes. 39 was written and sung by Brian on a night at the opera, but sang live by Freddie on live killers. I'm sorry Sarrie, that you think it's a hard life is an enimy for life if that's who you mean. She's very nice. Enough with drama. K? Lol. Keep your head incheck instead of keep yourslef alive. That's a good parody. |
Serry... 26.08.2006 02:54 |
I need to have Penetration_Guru's nerves for reply in General forum... I'm not Sarrie... Call me Sergey better - if Serry doesn't work. |
deleted user 26.08.2006 02:57 |
i think she's just going by the sound of it. it's spelled s e r r y, if that helps:) |
queen mercury 33542 26.08.2006 03:15 |
Yes. Thanks. That helps. Sorry Serry. I've got it now. Smile. |
