Hi Everyone !
We've made a reprise of the dremer's ball ! link
do you like it ?
vocal : me (magicmars /damien)
guitar : Le gros mat
your feedbacks are really appreciated !
ThanX
Magicmars
I think that's excellent! You have a good voice, despite the non-English accent, and as far as I could hear, perfect pitch. The harmonies were good too, and sounded very professional, although if I was being really picky, I might point out that a couple of the lead vocals were slightly mis-timed to the harmony. The guitar playing is superb, and the sound is certainly not that far removed from Brian's sound for this track. The multi-layering is done really nicely, and it all holds together very well indeed. I don't usually like fan covers, but I could certainly listen to this more than once. Excellent work - congratulations, and thanks for sharing this with us!
Certainly one of the better covers on the site to date. But Fickle's over-enthusiastic response about "perfect pitch" is unfortunately not there. But I certainly caught the same mis-timed harmony bits as Fickle.
Great sounds for the guitar, but slightly brought down by the solo parts where it comes undone a bit.
The only two notes about the sound would be, 1) the harmony vocals are quite thin sounding. And 2) the overall bass of the track was also light sounding.
Good job overall!
Peace,
Adam.

So, not only are you offering critique for what people upload, you are also panning other people's comments, Adam? I detected no 'off' notes in the singing, the vocals were not strained, and I wanted to comment on this. If you disagree, fine, but there was no need for your "over-enthusiastic" comment. Kindly stick to opposing other people's opinions with reasoned debate, rather than rebuking them. :)
You don't think saying they have perfect pitch is over enthusiastic? I was just saying that, sorry, but it's not there like you thought it was.
Why so touchy about that? It's not like I said you were utterly wrong and should be made an example of!
Peace,
Adam.
It's just the way you put things, Adam, like you are the ultimate authority on what is right and wrong with a mix or a cover. I'm sure you don't mean to come across like that, but sometimes you do, and, with respect, it's annoying. Offering an opinion is different to stating your point as a matter of inarguable fact. That's what makes me "touchy". OK, so maybe the phrase "perfect pitch" wasn't technically the correct terminology, but I have listened to the track again, and I can still find no errors with the vocals, apart from the obvious non-English accent.
Sounds very good, only some things were too loud (mostly backing vocals) and other things a bit too soft (drums and bass), I would've mixed it a bit different, but the guitar and vocals are sounding good :)
I like it! There's probably not a lot you can do about the accent except listen very closely to the original, but the timbre of your voice is actually quite close to Freddie's. I don't find much fault with the pitch, but perfect pitch is a rare gift which I wish had been bestowed upon me :-)
The guitars are mostly spot on, notes and sound, but some of the notes on the original are played just a little more "staccato". A minor detail though.
Fickle by name, fickle by nature! lol Only kidding!
Seriously, I'd hate to come across as some know-it-all. We all have our own thoughts and opinions on these things. I heard vocal errors, you didn't. End of story, really. Ach well.
Peace,
Adam.
Thank you men for all these feed backs. I will re mix the song and let you listen to the new one very soon !
there may be some improvments !
It is thanks to you that its getting better.
