Non-official, I'll get that out of the way first.
I'm currently completing my "A Kind Of Magic - 20th Anniversary Edition" project, which has involved producing a similar package that was officially released for ANATO last year. I have used the extended versions of the songs (where available), compiled video footage for each track, and mixed the whole album in 5.1 surround sound. Some videos are simple extensions of the original videos, others are compilations of archive footage, Highlander footage, and clips from Wembley.
For Don't Lose Your Head, I have produced a "live" video using the Wembley footage, and thought I'd share my creation with you all.
The video is here: link
(The sync problems only appeared when I uploaded it, so don't judge on that!)
Have fun spotting which tracks the boys are actually playing, and please let me know what you think!
Glad you enjoy it.
You're right with Radio Ga Ga - it forms the basis for most of the track given that its drum pattern is pretty similar. No LOML or WWRY were used. Some of the daytime shots were from AKOM and Impromptu (the falsetto part on the stairs), and a few shots came from WATC. You certainly know your Wembley footage, Daniel!!
I'm just working on the lyric subtitles for the tracks and I should be mostly done with the DVD. Unfortunately I can't compile 55 minutes of relevant interviews to have as a commentary!!
It seems to be edited nicely, that's all I can really say with the sync issue. It's like the number one basis for whether something like this is good or not, so with it being off like that.. who knows?
You could always try somewhere else to upload.. Rapidshare.de, Megaupload.com
Seeing the clip makes me seriously wonder why did they never performed the questionable song in magic tour.. It would have been a hell of a great middle part runner. adding bit to the harder edge of highlander songs they played.
Actually Friends will be friends being the "hardest".
