During Queen For An Hour he said that his favourite singers (in rock music) were George Michael and Robert Plant. At the Circus tapes he said Robert Plant (that's 1977 I think). But of course Freddie mentioned Paul Rodgers: check out his diaries! |

Come on peeps, Paul has not had plastic sugery or a wig! He looks the same except older and more tanned. He has always had the almond eyes. As far as Paul being Freddie's favourite singer, lol Aretha was! In interviews he has mentioned Aretha as his all time, then Liza, and i think PR was mentioned as being liked but not his favourite. |

well, paul definitely lost a lot of weight somewhere in the 90s, and i wouldn't be surprised if that would require a nip and tuck to finish the look he has now. as for aretha vs paul, i think aretha is probably freddie's fav singer, but I'm sure he must have had some respect to paul which he'd expressed at some point. It's not surprising if roger and brian might stretch this a little to big up their new partner. After all, the shows have been very Queen heavy, and paul's taken a lot of heat over stepping into fred's shoes. I don't blame B+R for bigging him up a bit |
