HELP! This is the second time this year... Because of a spate of PC problems, I have (yet agian) lost one of my 'MS Word' documents. In short, my 2006 'Ultimate Collection' has bit the dust. Can anyone help me recreate this info? - Gigs (dates, tracks etc) - Radio shows/Interviews - Collaborations - Cover versions - DVDs etc. any help would be advantageous. |
Togg 11.08.2006 10:34 |
Bummer, of course if the search funtion worked properly it would be easy, however... If I find anything will let you know |
Togg 11.08.2006 10:57 |

Sorry I didn't think about it when you first posted or I would have realised what you meant! Also try here, I'm sure you have already done so but hey it was worth a try link |

Thanks... Yes, it only the 2006 stuff I have lost, I have kept all the other years intact. I need to start 2006 from scratch, so any radio shows, releases etc would be appreciated. |

+ (?) Ind We Will Rock You (IND1) 6:35 Released on vinyl single by group: UKPiRATEZ - one of the main British "labels" for "urban scene" releases though it's started to work only two years ago. I don't know how this track is connected to Queen though - it has no any single sample from original version even. |

Forthcoming album of Lynn Carey Saylor contains remixed and re-sung version of "If We Believe". Brian also played and sung on "We Belong" track (written by Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro) from that album (it's already available for pre-sale). "I have decided at this time to dedicate a blog to the subject of the Pat Benatar song "We Belong", sincethe word has been getting around lately that I have recorded it recently. This is the"hit 80's era"song I spoke of (but didn't name)in an earlier blog that Queen guitarist, Brian May, graciously came down to the studio andplayed guitar and sang background vocals on (in the middle of a major North Americantour with Queen & Paul Rodgers, no less!).In addition to "We Belong", Brian also plays guitar and sings background vocals onone of my own songs ("If We Believe"). <...> Of course, you'd expect that by my putting one of the most well-known Rock guitarists in music history on it extensively, now wouldn't you? ;-) We also added a little solo section into the arrangement of the song for Brian to play over (the original has no lead guitar section, as you may recall) and Brian plays some very tasteful lead guitar on the out chorus of the song, as well. Below is a pic from the day we recorded Brian's, Eric's and Dan's parts in the studio ~ April 4th, 2006 ~ and what a great day it was!!" Danny Miranda also appears on the album. Details of first release of "If We Believe" are here: link |

John, you should think about some different format than MS Word. Not that it would be safer but above all it would be a better format for a future work with this kind of data. MS Word is about the worst, most incompatible format ever invented. |
