Is it a BIG problem that my attention span is about 5 minutes long? and what does that mean about me? As I have trouble paying attention in all my classes (thank god I am a natural at Japanese and English) And my teachers are starting to yell at me heaps because of it and I really don't like it :'( What can I do about all of this? I mean I don't want to be moved down maths classes again..... And I dont want to be yelled at for something that I cant help |

It's a problem, but not a big one. You probably hate school (like EVERYBODY!), so you get bored It happens quite often to me, but i pretend to be ok and my teachers cannot understand whether i'm "there" or not |

There's always suicide. But alternatively, you *could* just find help with this. It's there, you know, for you and the likes of you. |

the average adult has a 7 minute attention span. 5 minutes for a child (escpecially boys) is normal. yay psych class! according to all doctirs everyone has ADD. people who really havent are overlooked. thank you. -Dr. Aylen |

Research indicates that an average attention span correlates with the age of the child. If he is 12, almost 13, his attention span should be about 12 or 13 minutes at least. |
