Any one here own any? At first I thought it was about the $$$ but it is rather nice to be able to watch the shows when you want( besides the countless reruns on TV) Seems every single show is now on DVD
So far I own the CSI's
Loney Tunes
The office (us and british)
The Pretender
The Avatar
I been wanting to get the Mike Judge Beavis and Butthead collection, but after getting the time/life one I dunno, same with Seinfied, I been holding off that as you can see about 15 episodes a week seeing it is run daily on 3 channels.
They're pretty much all I buy nowadays. From memory, I have:
The Office (UK seasons 1 & 2, US season 1)
Newsradio (seasons 1 - 3)
Scrubs (seasons 1 & 2)
Boston Legal (season 1)
Arrested Development (seasons 1 & 2)
SportsNight (complete series)
Family Guy (seasons 1 - 3)
I'm sure I've got more, but I can't recall offhand. I remember thinking it was a crazy idea at first, but I'm really glad it got off the ground.
I really want them to put out Spin City.
Shitty thing about the office, after I got the UK version season 1 they came out with season 2, but you had to buy it in a combo with season 1 and pay the extra 14 bucks..ever since then I have yet to see season 2 alone for sell around here.

Me too. I still buy alot of movies, but it's the TV shows that I am most interested in. Fortunately for me, there is a store with a large inventory of used sets, so I usually pick up my TV shows a bit cheaper than Best Buy, WalMart, etc. Most of what we have are the old 70s shows like Bob Newhart, some hour long dramas like NYPD Blue, and some kids shows.
And Lester - season 3 of Arrested Development out soon.
Way too many to mention, but some faves are:
- 4 seasons of 'ER' (5th just came out too)
- 5 sets/6 seasons of 'Seinfeld'
- Freaks And Geeks (Yearbook edition)
- 3 seasons of Good Times (once John Amos left, it sucked)
- Ray Bradbury Theatre (massive complete series)
- 2 seasons of Degrassi Jr. High (the original)
- Charles in Charge (the first and only decent season, before syndication)
BTW, something I've grown to love are old talk shows in DVD sets.. Dick Cavett has some out.. I have the John & Yoko set. And Mike Douglas with John & Yoko (only available in Brazil) and recently Tom Snyder 'Punk & New Wave' which has some really cool episodes from the late 70s/early 80s with punk bands.

Thank God - I'm looking forward to that the most. I downloaded every episode, but just to have it on DVD with commentary and extras is more than worth it.
Oh yeah, how could I forget - I also have all available Seinfeld DVDs. THOSE are great DVDs, even though the show is on all the time on at least three different channels, the extras are so worthwhile.

I've heard plenty of bad comments about those new Beavis & Butthead DVDs.
Apparently they've released only collection, and not the entire seasons. Also some people claim that some of the episodes have been censored.

I'd love to get the recent series of Doctor Who if they bring it out on DVD. I also wanted series two of The Royle Family but never got around to buying that. I love that show.
