I think that we -the fans- should return to them what they have given us all these years (and still do): quality fan behaviour. Well I live in America and every time I mention Queen someone says, "Isn't that the dead gay guy?" So I don't know how respected they really are here.

I thought you left Queenzone? True Queen fans are not the majority of the listening audience. You're pretty disconnected with things if you don't clearly see how the average person in North America initally thinks "gay" when they hear the band Queen. Honestly, realistically, if you went down any street and asked random people what they knew about Queen, would they tell you how Queen II and ANATO were brilliant albums, or would they tell you that the singer was gay, died of AIDS, and sang BoRhap and WATC? In other words, do you actually believe that the average person weighs quality of music over image and sexuality? Not a chance. I wish it wasn't so, but unfortunately it's reality.

Maybe they started out romantically, but as Freddie started coming out to himself, they realized they were soulmates, and had a special kind of love, just not romantic love. Human sexuality is not always black and white, there are shades of gray. What Freddie's actually sexual orientation was, we'll never know since he isn't with us. That being said, that is all I'm saying about Freddie's sexuality.
