Ah, The Beatles, many of us grew up listening to this great groups music and solo lps. Definately one of the few groups/artists I enjoy more then Queen. Favourite Beatles Album Rubber Soul(US-Folk Rock Version and UK-Original! Both Great!) Runners Up-Long Tall Sally, A Hard Days Night Favourite McCartney Album London Town Favourite Lennon Album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band Favourite Harrison Album All Things Must Pass(Original LP issue, Not Remixed/Remasterd cd) Favourite Starr Album RINGO(Photograph is such an awesome tune) It's so hard picking just one album! |

Favorite Beatles album: Abbey Road Favorite John album: Imagine (I don't have much of his stuff) Favorite Paul album: Ram, probably Favorite George album: All Things Must Pass (again, I don't have much of his stuff) Favorite Ringo album: Ringo (I've got all his stuff... no, I'm kidding) The Beatles were a huge obsession of mine back when I was about 13 or so, around the time the Anthologies came out... I ran out and got every book I could get my hands on, and I know A LOT about them... but I kind of burned myself out and don't really listen to them much anymore. I have my moments where they're the only thing I listen to, but it's been a while. |

I grew up with Beatles vinyls so I sorta burned out on them after a long while, but these days I treat their music like a treat, listening to it every little while and enjoying it to the fullest. |

One of the albums that's quickly becoming a favorite is Paul's "Press To Play" album, especially 'However Absurd'. I just love that song... anyone else ever hear it, or am I alone? |

lol true, I enjoy Red Rose Speedway a lot(Lazy Dynamite!!!!). Double Fantasy was quite good(Johns stuff) but I wouldnt recommend it to someone who doesnt have a John solo lp. They would be scared off by the Yoko Ono tracks |

I'm not a HUGE Beatles fan, however, I believe that The White Album was perhaps their best album. My old man has it on vinyl, and it's pretty schweet. :D |

Somepeople think I'm crazy for picking Help! but I believe it has some of the most under rated songs ever written. I Need You, It's Only Love, I've Just Seen a Face and the deliciously sung Act Naturally. Of course I see the merits of Revolver/Rubber Soul but for me I just can't seem to digest 'Love You To' off Revolver and 'Think For Yourself' and 'The Word' off Rubber Soul. I over indulged on Abbey Road - it sounds too familiar to me that's why I turned to Please Please Me/With the Beatles etc. I love the first 5 album though. Woo! |
SK 03.08.2006 12:19 |
I've Just Seen A Face and It's Only Love are two of the best songs ever made :D I also think Love You To is extremely amazing! Sorry to hear that you dont enjoy it :( Help is a great lp by the way |

Oh, I do like Revolver. Just Love You To slightly sours it for me...how can you not love an album with...well everything else BUT Love You To, heh :) What annoys me is I can't get my copy of Help! or Let It Be working at the moment! Argh. Honestly - being quite a Stepford fan here - I don't think the Beatles lay down any bad music. I take the piss out of my friends (both Harrison/Lennon fans) by saying what they wrote was inferior to Paul but don't mean it. |
