i recently downloaded the hammersmith 75 concert and its on RAR. files. Im not great on computers so i dont know how to extract the files, can any1 help me, or does any1 hav it on another file type.
RAR is a compressed archive format similar to ZIP - the sound/video files are inside the archive and must be extracted before you can play them the usual way.
On Windows systems, I think Winzip can uncompress most RAR files without trouble, just as if they were ordinary zipfiles.
Anyway, the best option is to download and install WinRar from[link - they also have versions of the software for MacOs and Linux.
EDIT: thanks, SMITTY, for reminding me how verbose I am :-)))))
HTH
It always amazes me when people post on a forum asking about what to do with files like this. And yet, it's a lot faster for them to just type in a search that will give them all the information they'd need to get what they want!
Peace,
Adam.
