The only band that came any where near Queen for me was Thin Lizzy. I know the line up changed frequently but the had a SOUND which you just knew was Lizzy, and Phil was an amazing singer/song writer.Another who died way too soon. God i would have killed to see the "Queen/Lizzy" tour back in the 70's. |

Led Zeppelin seems to be the most frequent band cited as being 2nd to Queen. I agree with everyone who said that noone really comes that close. It only goes to prove that afterall these years, Queen still ROCKS!!!!!! |

Which band is close to Queen...hm.. let's see Technicaly = every neo-classic, alternative and hard rock band from the 70s, 80s... Emotionally = nobody Stylish = nobody Social position in the band (there al all composers, they all seems equals..the are democratic...) = nobody So.. techicaly are quite the same like most 70s,80s rock bands, but the have SOMETHING MORE, SOMETHING THAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT, SOMETHING BETTER.. something that makes them QUEEN... |
