If your like me, who thinks Extreme are a great band and think they rock, then JOIN THE CLUB!!!
They did awesome at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert back in 1992. That medley was one of a kind, I have it on my iPod! :D
I love it the way they changed so swiftly to each song, so strong and the crowed was MAD!
I only have their Greatest Hits, but I'm planning on maybe getting all their albums. I hear they are BIG fans of Queen?! That's a plus!
Anyone knows why they have splitted up? When? They were such a good band.
My favourite songs from them are:
Decadence Dance
Rest In Peace
Get The Funk Out
More Than Words
Play With Me
:D

Yeah Queen were a big influence on them. I must admit that I've only heard More Than Words. It's a good song.
Heres something for people who don't know much about them.... link
"April 20 - Extreme do a Queen medley, acoustic Love of My Life, and More Than Words for the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert For Life at Wembley Stadium. Brian May introduces them as real friends, and the only people on the planet who understood what Queen was about in front of 70 000 people and millions by satellite. They were reportedly the only band the audience screamed for more of. Gary also sings Hammer to Fall with Queen."
Now that's what I call ROCK N ROLL!!! xD
Ooooooooooooo I didn't know this happened:
""Song For Love" is released as a single in the UK, a cover of Queen's "Love of My Life" that includes Brian May, is on the b-side. Proceeds go to the Terrence Higgins Trust for AIDS. A video for the song, featuring live clips of the band is shown, but the band did not officially film it."
That's GREAT!

I'm not familiar with their work, other than 'More Than Words', which is a great song. And they gave a fantastic performance at the Tribute Concert. I also VERY much liked Def Leppard's performance;)

Great band. I will have Gary's last E.P. very soon. Can't wait...
Sorry, I'll take "what"
Did they make a 4th album? Because III sucked so bad that I got rid of Pornograffiti and never bought the first one.
Nuno is a pretty good guitarist, though, when not improvising.
(Sorry, this is a Queen website, so expect higher standards!! What did you expect a David Hasselhoff thread or something?)
Yest they didmake 4'th album. It is called "Waiting for the punchline" and it's very unlike their previous LP's. It sounds "dirtier" i think. But it still Extreme and it's still great music ("III Sides..." is incredible). Sorry for my english.
