(Yeah, I know this is silly and useless since the video has already been made, but just read what I have to say before you judge me...lol)
This is one of my favorite songs by Queen, but the video is so damn boring, I think they could have came up with something way better than what they came up with...
I think the video should have started out with each of them on dates with various girls (yes, even Freddie, I dont think he could have had a video with a guy being his date, keep in mind, this was like 1976, a long time before Will and Grace was on TV...lol) Anywho, I think the video should have started out with each of them "romancing" their dates, and just have a good old fashion time, but funny also!!!
Does anybody else have any idea's???
Do share!!!
I like your idea! I always pictured Freddie walking down the street singing and dancing and when he "I learned my passion, in the good old fashioned school of lover boys", he walks up to a sign that says "School of Lover Boys" and Freddie walks in.
I could picture Roger being on a date with his girl, and him trying to rub his hand on her knee, and then her throwing her drink in Roger's face...and then Roger sitting their looking all confused like what did I do??? LOL!!!
People weren't exactly making music videos as elaborate as that back then.....
I personally liked it, only because I thought Freddie was cute in it but that's a good enough reason! lol

And then Freddie comes in to give him some advice because HE is a good old fashioned loverboy, and suddently all the women want Roger again..xD!

NO.
I like the video. Back in the 70s, Queen liked performance videos!
There he goes again: he's my good old fashioned lover boy... whatcha doin t'nite, HEY BOY?
yeah, liked the thing with the water in roger's face. But I have to say Freddie would not need to instruct Roger in order for Roger to have women flocking and stocking Roger 24/7 in any way.

Then Roger would make up with the girl at the end of the video, and bring her some roses...then she'll kiss him on the cheek!!!

A little corny and cheesy but cute and adorable

I think someone drawing the original video as a sketch cartoon would be cool. I don't think a real video would do it any good... :X
I should do that! I recently bought Sheer Heart Attack and am addicted...I was listening to In the Lap of the Gods and this whole thing flooded into my head...I grabbed my sketchbook, heh.
Who wants to hear what went through my head, eh?!
