ok i have been a Queen fan many years now but this song has passed me by. i have only recently heard it for the first time in a cd that Queen specially recorded for UK radio in 1977. there are quite a few songs on the cd and all are from studio albums just done slightly differently than the original studio album version but there are 3 versions of this song See What A Fool I've Been and i know nothing about it so can anyone help me out to why wasn't it put on a studio album?
Thank you the_hero sorry if you heard that question before i really don't post things just for the sake of it but i really wanted to know about it. i hadn't known anything before. on my cd there are 3 songs of it but two sound the same with one sang differently so it probably is only two versions just the exact same song on the cd twice.
Just to add a wee bit of information about the song, Brian wrote this based on an old blues song by Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee and Big Bill Broonzy called "Thats How I Feel"
If Im allowed to, I can post that version of the song here for you.
well i wouldnt mind but i am not up on what is right or wrong to post links to songs. maybe someone else who knows better say if its ok. thanks for the reply though.
I've got this as a bonus track on the QUEEN II CD from hollywood records, a US release...
And the only information given on the disc at all is that it was an orignial B-side.
Someone mentioned it was the B-side to 7 Seas of Rhye.
Well, there are at least 3 versions: the BBC one and two edits of the proper studio version.
In my opinion, the BBC is by far the best, it would be perfect if it featured the screaming guitar solo at the end of the longer studio version...
Allright!!! Illegal file sharing.
Can't you knobs just buy the CD? It's on Queen II (Hollywood) and about 16 different CD singles.
And this is why we "Save The Children"?
I haven't got any illegal music. i never do that, i have got every Queen cd and before that i had every one on cassette so plus videos and dvd's i have put some money in to Queen productions in my time thank you very much. as for buy Queen 11 the hollywood records version well it is a USA version and its not available over here. anyway i got the song on the BBC sessions 1977. HOLLYWOOD RECORDS IS NOT IN THE UK QUEEN ARE ON PARLOPHONE LABEL.
Microwave, If you are referring to me, then I can say that I did NOT SHARE THE QUEEN song. Just thought I'd point that out.
If you are not referring to me then I apologise.
