So... Somewhere between Famous Footwear and Payless Shoes, I decided that #1 - I hated all the shoes I was seeing, and #2 - I was wondering where (on-line) I could get a pair of shoes like Freddie's Addidas/Nike high-top boxing shoe things. If anyone knows already, I would be really grateful since dial-up and I are having no fun loading pictures on shoe sites.
Ar - 56K ! Actually, I think it's AOL's fault. I hate AOL. I just can't stand the way it's set up... @#$% it.

They don't make the same type of shoe Freddie wrote. They were Adidas High Tops..... a guy on here used to brag about having a pair of them, and took photos and all of them. He married Leah Lurex, and I'm her Messenger.
Anyway, I don't know where you are, but for the closest things, the shoes won't be found at payless or anything.... try more expensive sports stores, and they are usually $65.00, and Freddie's were more like shoes, the ones now are like sneakers, and don't go up the leg as high as his did.
Though it would probably be unwise to admit it... I am from America (thus, the AOL. Unless AOL has taken over other countries, which would indeed be horrible).
I suppose I'll have to either go to an actual sports' store (eek ! I was in Payless looking for replacement ballet flats. Turns out they went out of style again) or figure out how to convert shoe sizes across country AND gender (instead of having someone else do it for me).
Thanks for the help ! My confidence in ebay is a bit mimbly-wimmbly...
O, y hablo un poco espanol tambien.

Yeah, they're ugly! But in on Freddie's feet they do not seem so ugly.
I also have white addidas shoes with 3 black stripes. But mine are simplier and not like boots. I bought them because it remember me Queen in the Magic Tour and I love them!

they do make them! I have a pair!
I got them from an adidas store in my local multiplex (Gunwarf Quays, Portsmouth)
In fact I have two pairs and i'm about to by my third because they keep getting dirty really quickly and they don't wash very well.
They cost me £30.
I'll get a picture of them eventually and show them to you if you dont believe me!
they are very comfortable and i wear them all the time.
Well...
I am going to go into the store and say "Can you Dick's order shoes like these ?"
Because, of course, they named the store "Dick's Sporting Goods". That was a great idea, Richard.
I'm a little peeved, because I found some nice pink ones, but they didn't carry my size - which is 8 (6.5 UK, I've been told).
I was going to lace them up with ribbon.
Screw you, Zappos.com !!
Thanks to Freddie, I have a large collection of ballet flats...though they aren't real ballet flats, they're flats.
Where would you get the 'Freddie' ballet flats anyway??
When I was in ballet, my mom and I always went to a dance/lingerie store (which was by the Tuba Museum).
They're pretty much slipper-like - there's no rubber in the soles (at least, not in mine). There's fabric and leather. So... you wouldn't want to wear them where you could get your feet wet or step on anything sharp.
They're not that good for the conditions of "real life"... which is why mine reside in a box in the basement.
