Ok, listened to the song again. I have to say: It is a nice song, but its structure is too simple, you can hardly tell the chorus from the verses and so on. The melody could be so much better; the singer is not bad but he lacks grace, and he's out of tune for a moment. I was waiting for the song to come alive... I mean, a really strong chorus or something like that... like Queen would do. The arrangements are nice, though they could be better too. You have strings, you have guitars, you have backing vocals, YOU HAVE QUEEN, USE THAT. That kind of things can make a song so much better. All in all, it is a nice song, though it doesn't sound like Queen. But you can tell that the singer is Freddie-esque when he sings some parts, that's a thing you could improve. That's about all I can say... I love writing songs too, and sometimes I'm too keen on the arrangements, and structure and stuff... I learned all that from Queen (and ELO, and APP, and KayaK, and Bee Gees, and so on...), and those things are almost the most important things on the song (the most important is the melody, OF COURSE).
