Well, Jess, "Jump Around" wasn't by Cypress Hill, it was actually recorded in 1991 and released in 1992 by an Irish-American rap group called House Of Pain. The track is not only included on the "Mrs. Doubtfire" soundtrack, but also from their 1992 self-titled debut album. I don't know if you've heard of a singer called Erik "Everlast" Shcrody, but he was an original member of House Of Pain. Of course the group didn't last during the '90s, so I'm assuming they were considered a one-hit wonder. As for me, I don't really much care for their music as well as the rest of rap. |

Ahhh the early 90s. Anybody remember Kriss Kross and the song 'Jump'. The one with those 2 kids who started that dumb fad of wearing clothes backwards? What was even funnier in those days was looking at all the poser kids doing the exact same shit just to look cool. Wearing clothes backwards is one of the most uncomfortable fads. Especially because if you have to pee and there's only urinals available, you have no choice but to pull down your pants and expose your hairy rear end. |

Mr.Jingles wrote:A truer word never was spoke! If you want good rap music, you need to look at Public Enemy or even better, Grandmaster Flash or the Sugarhill Gang. Public Enemy personified what rap is supposedly about - social commentary and challenging the system, while the other two just did some cracking feel-good tunes.<B>Jellybean Queen<h6>sweetbodykisses<B> wrote:Biggie Smalls was never that good. Listen to the 'Live at the Filmore' album - that band is on fire! |
