do you have a boy-/girlfriend who is such a great queen fan as you? do you like the same album/songs/band member? |
deleted user 16.06.2006 16:39 |
I don't have one, but when I start looking for one I will go looking for a hardcore Queen fan. If they weren't, it wouldn't last very long because I'd be going on about Queen non-stop and they would go mad. |

I have a girlfriend who I met 6 years ago on the Queen Fan Club chat room. We are pretty much alike when it comes to liking the exact same music, and it's not just Queen. The only difference is that she likes Cher, and I despise the ugly cunt with a passion. I always tease my girlfriend about it. Oh and she also likes 'Oingo Boingo', which is along with Devo the worst New Wave band of all time. |

Before I met my boyfriend he basically only knew the singles and didn't *really* know who Queen were, so of course I couldn't just let that lie. ;-) But yeah, now we like the same kind of music and it's agreed upon that Freddie was the single greatest musician that ever lived, so that is a plus for our relationship. *giggle* |

my amazing sweet beautiful darling has as strong (bordering on obsessive) a passion for Queen and their music as me!!! He is wonderful in every way, but for this, sharing a love of Queen, is very nice to have someone that understands about Queen and what they mean to me. And someone to talk with about Queen things especially live bootlegs, which we both love hearing...So we share a love for Queen along with our very very strong love for eachother. |

I'd be lucky to even have a friend whose a bloody Queen fan! They're so scarce in my area! Sure, they're a few who claim to be Queen fans... when all they have done is borrowed their relatives Greatest Hits album and listen to it occasionally. No hardcore fans to be seen! |

People try and tell me there's Queen fans in Perth, I refuse to believe it. There's low-brow knuckledraggers who are into shitty death metal or tinned-music like Jet or Wolfmother, or there's these sociopathic university students who'll only listen to music if : a). The music is independent. b). The singer can't sing. c). At least some of the backing is positively atonal. |
FreeSpirit328 17.06.2006 16:22 |
Nope, no boyfriend to share my love of Queen with. and I drive everyone mad when I talk about Queen because I don't know anyone in my personal life who likes them. Most of them say, "Who the hell is Freddie Mercury?" |

My girlfriend doesn't like Queen. Or rather, she doens't feel very strongly about it, mostly because I like it. I have caught her singing A Kind of Magic, though...haha... :P In revenge, I've declared Michael Hutchence (with whom she is besmitten with) as my arch-nemesis. Other than that, she generally listens to good music. Nirvana, Rolling Stones, SOAD, My Chemical Romance, Guns and Roses, etc etc. |

I don't have a boyfriend, but if I did he'd definitely have to like most of the same music as me.. not necessarily Queen though. :) Music's the most important thing to me, and you've gotta have something in common. |
