Anyone pick this CD up yet?
It's pretty good. The tour was great, and this CD faithfully recreates being at one of the shows. It doesn't seem so edited, like 2000 Years was. I wish they would have replaced some of the more common tracks with more rarely played ones. But the ones that are on there are appreciated - Everybody Loves You Now, The Entertainer, Laura, She's right on Time, Great Wall of China, A Room of Our Own (hidden track), some others.
Anyway, 32 tracks for 14 bucks or so is a great deal, so if you're a Billy Joel fan pick this one up, especially if you don't have 2000 Years.

The only live performance by Billy Joel on DVD is Yankee Stadium and the editing sucks.
Well, it is a compilation of 12 shows at Madison Square Garden, so unless they thought to dress the same way for each show in anticipation of a DVD release, I don't think it will work.
There is very cut-down show on DVD from the River of Dreams Tour on the recently-released My Lives boxset, though. Not great, but better than nothing.
I'd like to see a show from the 70's released on CD or DVD.

Well, they could have taken at least footage from one of those shows and release it on DVD.
Billy Joel is in deep need of a live DVD that lives up to the greatness of his shows.
