yeah john deacon is kinda retarded. next time he writes a song, it should be called "i need your retarded loving tonight". then he can go on to write " in only seven retarded days".
hang ten bro. keep the portland vibe alive.
I don't think the genius of that song can be belittled. Great philosophy in it. That you don't want to force love too soon or too late with someone you're not supposed to be with because you can miss out on your true love. Genius. I love the guitar too. Great short lil song.
At the risk of being a little filthy, I just took a look at the lyrics to make sure I remembered them right...and the only thing that seemed to make sense is that the words are a metaphor for sexual activity? Either timing the act to "conclude together", avoiding premature ejactulation or possibly, uh, making sure ones aim is correct-perhaps to avoid attempting to go in through the out door? I don't know, what do you think?
well your interpretation is noted. That could be the case as well. Maybe it's subjective. The lyrics fit both scenarios in my mind, which is always the mark of a good song.

:O :O :O :O NO I did not think THAT!
EWWW John and sex!!!! :D :D
(jokes, I love John)
But in all seriousness, how in sweet hell did THAT pop into your head! :D
ETA: I just listened to it and HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh my GOD, ROFL, he may have something there...
Well, not really, but his theory could work!
WhatMustHeThink- I am looking th the lyrics again and I can't imagine what made me think that (butt sex)! I'll stand by first two guesses, but as for the last one...I guess I have to withdraw that one! The only thing I could refer to is "It's always hit or miss, so take your aim, got to hold on tight"-that's a real stetch, but that's all I can think of. Sorry!
