Brazil disappointed me, like most of the called "big teams"... it's strange that in this world cup, most of team make a goal on first half, and in second half they only defend the goalkeeper.
Ronaldo was a shadow of that former player... it reminds me the final against France (1998).
Croatia, to me, deserved a draw (tied), but they lost Nico Kovac, i still don't understand his injury, was very strange.
I hope next games will be better than this.
If i should give a calification to these teams, i would give a 5 to Brazil and a 6 to Croatia (in scale 1 to 10)
And the best player was Kaká, specially for his goal.
I thought Brazil gave a decent performance, but Croatia was definitely the team that left their hearts and souls on the field.
Ronaldo was nothing more than another one of the 80.000 spectators. Absolutely shameful performance by the one who once was considered the best player in the world.

I can understand when players are not at the top of their game. Figo for once is not as good as 5 years ago, but he's still an essential player that his team strongly depends upon.
Ronaldo on the other hand didn't make any effort to keep up with the pace of the game. All he did was stand on the field for 90 minutes, and only had one shot that went above the cross bar. Other than that, he did NOTHING.

Well... I'm from CROATIA, so you can guess what is my comentary.
You deserved a tie... any information about Kovac injury?
Kovac almost had a broken rib. He couldn't breathe and he almost fainted. Croatia was very good. I couldn't believe that we lost with only 1:0. Everyone expected that the result would be worse. i stopped watching after Kaka gave goal...i wasn't able to watch...my nerves :)
