unfotunatly the roger waters show is not going to be transmited in full,i think because of dark side of the moon..but i can't explain very well.
but ckeck out aol.co.uk/rio ,they have transmited the guns show in full...maybe they'll do the same with roger waters
get ready to Guns...
as far as i know (what the hosts say) the songs of chineese democracy are NOT going to the transmited.the rest songs are being transmited
The whole of both the Darkness and GNR was shown on AOL - new Chinese Democracy songs and all...
I decided to give into peer pressure and went the pub - recorded the Darkness audio instead, and you can watch it all again, or at least highlights on AOL, but I did watch GNR out of a sense of curiosity and some romantic notion of a band back from the dead - Axl Rose is still awesome - a real performer.
The new band members were all technically excellent, but nothing on the original line up - why people cant understand that widdling and playing technically and very fast doesnt improve a guitar solo in most cases is beyond me - they completely gutted the emotion from a number of the tracks by turning the solo's into overcomplicated widdly messes - still a great performance though.
From what I saw, and have now heard of the Darkness they seem to be even better now than in February when I saw them in Manchester - fantastic live band - did some AC/DC covers theyve been playing with too - kool!
Oh - and We Will Rock You played entirely on guitar during Love on the Rocks....fab!

The GNR that you speak of isnt Guns and Roses. Its Axl Rose and his tribute band to the real GNR

Tend to agree, but their pretty good at what they do, and for all his insanity, he's still an awesome singer/frontman.
I'll probs buy Chinese Democracy when it comes out, very much doubt he'll ever be on a par with Velvet Revolver though.
just put this link in your web explorer
mms://wmslive-eu.stream.aol.com/live/aol/uk1_high
if you go to aol.co.uk/rio and you don't have a aol acount you wont be able to see the stream, but just copy/paste the link above to your web browser and you'll have access to it
in here, maybe they'll transmit all of Roger Waters show, like they did with guns n roses
i think that the show not be transmited in xl.sapo.pt it's because in the near future the show is realesed in DVD,don't know if the rock in rio show...if this show link
The Roger Waters show can be downloaded from Dimeadozen since a couple of days. It doesn't have the DSOTM set, since that part apparently is used for official purposes. The first set however looks great. I didn't watch it yet, since I'm going to see his show next saturday, and I don't want to spoil it too much

I saw that performance on YouTube.com and it was plain embarassing.
Before Axl used to sound like Brian Johnson, and now he sounds like Marge Simpson on acid. The worst part was to see Axl run across the stage and running out of breath after carrying that huge fat gut around.
I have to give Axl the props for not throwing one of his usual tantrums after the mic lost audio. I'd expect him to walk off stage, but he seemed pretty patient this time.
