I do get bored of certain songs / albums after a while if I have listened to them a lot. But I just switch to another Queen album/song, for a while and always go back eventually. That's the great thing about the Queen Music Catalogue. There is always a song to suit every situation. And if you want a change of mood or pace there is always an alternative track somewhere within reach. |

I never get real bored, but sometimes I just want to hear other music than Queen. So you CAN listen to some music too often, but as I said: I never get really bored, I'm always happy when I hear a Queen song. When I have played some other music and put on Queen again, it feels so safe to me. It's like I have known their music all my life. It's like coming home after a long working day and feeling great to be home. I'm also a Led Zeppelin-fan, but I still have to learn most of the lyrics. So knowing all Queen lyrics is wonderful! Whenever I have played Led Zeppelin, it's great to hear music that I totally know, if you know what I mean. Of course I have some songs that I skip: - My Melancholy Blues - More of that Jazz (I only like the medley-part) - Hot space (except Put out the Fire, Under Pressure and Action this Day) - Son & Daughter - Jesus - All Gods People - Rain must Fall - Machines (back to Humans) - The loser in the End - She makes me (worst Brian song ever!) |

The only song I will skip 100% of the time is "Don't Lose Your Head". "The Hitman" is up there, but not 100%. My mom ALWAYS skips "The Prophet's Song" and almost everything not "Greatest Hits" worthy. I love my mom... but... if she skips "Sweet Lady" one more time, I'm going to go crazy. Actually, I noticed that she (whether she knows it or not) prefers songs Freddie wrote and skips practically all the other ones on "A Night at the Opera" except "'39". |

Those who can't stand White Man are bloody crazy! C´mon I know it's a matter of taste but this song is amazing pure power all the four members kick asses! I don't think I skip songs, sometimes I stop listening to a Queen album because I have to leave home, for me that's the only reason I don't listen to a complete Queen album. Yeah, I skip songs all right. We're only human after all! But I certainly don't get bored of listening to Queen. It's just not possible for me. Yeah, I get bored! I don't like all songs. Don't loose your head, The Hitman, Back Chat... But listening to the earlier albums - all the way up to The Game - I don't want to skip, because it's all so perfectly planned. For example I love the way how Love of my life emerges in the remains of Prophet's song. Sometimes I listen to just one song, but mostly it's the album I enjoy. |
