Ok, Ive only seen an hour long doc. and some clips, but is buying the FM tribute DVD worth it? At all? |
| its_a_hard_life 26994 19.05.2006 17:17 |
I would say GO OUT AND BUY IT! I do and it's great, disk 2 is really good. Though when Roger starts talking in his black suit his eyes are all red and you can tell he's been crying. :( Disk 1 is just on all the concert, though they have edited out alot from like the morning with Led Zep, G n R, Metallica ect ect.... I really want to know where you get the first half of the concert. Saw it on Ebay a few times, maybe that's the only way to get it. I'm not sure, but for the DVD you can buy it anywhere. |

WhatMustHeThink wrote: Is it worth buying though? If you like the acts who are performing on the stage and if you are a kind of person who can deal with watching something abit sad frequently then get it. Yes some of it is going to be sad, but that's because it's a Tribute to Freddie and that's what your going to get. I personally like it and enjoy watching it regularly. I'd say again go out and buy it. |

That comment about Rog with red eyes because he was crying is bullshit...because that intro that he make starts with..."10 years ago... Freddie Mercury died of AIDS... his friends and..." etc... so... ten years ago maybe ... not maybe...he sure remember Freddie so much but that doesn´t mean that when he shoot that intro in 2002 was crying.. its stupid :S Bye P. |

I'd get so sad if I watched it. I always get very sad when I see Queen without Freddie. |

Yes, because you know it all. (head-desk) IM NOT SAYING THAT I KNOW IT ALL, IM JUST SAYING THAT WHEN THAT INTRDUCTION OF ROGER WAS FILMED... WAS IN 2002... WHY IN THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT HE WILL BE CRYING!??!?!... AND HIS EYES ARE NOT RED AT ALL... P. |

its so petty here...ah well, makes for some good entertainment. |

I dont think it was a good concert, must singers dont mesure up to their songs, plus brian's guitar sound is different, maybe because of the marshalls. I rather wembly or fire at the bowl, even ROTC is better. |
| its_a_hard_life 26994 20.05.2006 12:42 |
I see his eyes red, not BOLD red for Gods sake but I do see them red. He doesn't look himself on that part. I know what I'm talking about, don't argue with me. I have seen it too many times so I should know. |

it was just a joke. sorry |

| aaaaaaaaaaa 20.05.2006 14:44 |
no i don't think you should buy it...brian the selfish butt he is(i'm guessing it was brian, it might have been rog or john) picked mostly his songs and left many freddie ones out(i mean there ar eonly like 5 fred songs from the 20 total songs, and thats if you count stone cold crazy as freddie's)it was supposed to be The Freddie Mercury Tribute but it turned more into the brian+roger tribute. |

Okay, my granny died 10 years ago when I was a kid. I still get sad about it, and I *barely* knew her. It's not beyond reason for Roger to get even a little sad about Freddie considering they were good buddies and all. I was just saying, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't - one would be a RASH individual indeed to claim they know exactly yes or no, what Roger is feeling on that DVD. Yeah, go on and buy it by the way. |
