"QUEEN - DIE SHOW" broadcasted on german cable channel Kabel1, was unfortunately not what it looked like as seen on link
Maybe this was expected to be a "real live type of projection of freddie performance" on the show ...
With this I mean, that in the studio they of course did not (!) project Freddie's image on stage. Instead of that during the recording of the TV show, they had a stand-in, and only after POST-PRODUCTION they created this hologram Freddie-on-stage appearence.
So the reactions from the audience, and the guests of the show were not based on the actual "live" performance of Freddie ... the end result is nice,I agree
Maybe some of you won't mind ... but these are the facts...

I can't believe so many people here love this footage. There's nothing original in it. I'd take the original TATDOOL video any day. It's touching and magical. This re-creation is just boring and meaningless. Just old footage through some cut&paste tools.

Totally agree ! Useless crap. Technically nicely done, but what's the point ? The show as a whole was a failure.

Bullshit! Freddie was singing live! He's still alive!

Yeah but Peter Freestone was all digital. You can tell he was done by WETA or something.

And he's gonna do a concert on his 60th birthday!
With new songs!
In benefit of John Deacon!

Yeah...and we're supposed to believe that Jim Hutton was there, too? Somehow I think not.
What I don't like about this performance is that they're showing dying Freddie, a shadow of a man, and not what he wanted to be remebered. It would be better to respect his wishes and show Freddie at the pick of his live performance!!!
