Lets take a look at all these compilations, and forgive me if I miss any, there are just so many..
Greatest Hits 1
Greatest Hits 2
Greatest Hits 3
Classic Queen
Queen Jewels, cant rememvber how many there are...
Queen Rocks
Stone Cold Hits
and now, apparently, ANOTHER one is coming out, to mark Freddie's 60th, The Best Of Freddie Mercury, which, yay, honouring Freddie, wonderful, great, fantastical, but would everybody much rather them do somthing, like, oh, I dont know, release more concert DVDs? a B-side collection? I mean, there are TONS of stuff Id LOVE to haev on DVD, Live At The Rainbow, Earls Court, Live In Houston, Concert For The People of Kampuchea, Live At The Serpentine, Rock In Rio, Live At Budapest, Knebworth...ok, so Im a little needy with the concert DVDs, but you cant tell me you wouldnt love to have them too. So, what the HELL is with all these compilations!!
Yeah, they need to release material that they recorded, but never released to the public, songs that were left off of albums, etc...

I think a B-side collection would be great. And I'd love to own more concert DVDs too, they should bring out some classic 70s gigs. That would be cool.
Dude, I want thos friggen b-sides!! Well, the non-album ones, how great would that be! And RAINBOW ON DVD!! COME ON! It cant take that much work to restore it! And Earls Court...*dreams*

further proof that QP is a money-grubbing machine...fine, greatest hits lured me in, but do yu realy need the 50 000 other compilations. I love the band and their music, but Im really hankering for a B-Side collection...

Greatest hits got me too.
Classic Queen got a lot of people I know.
Using your philosophy, they are money grabbing machines for putting the albums on CD. Also, making Wembly86, Live At The Bowl, FM Tribute Concert ect.

Honey, it gets a bit redundant when theyre putting out compilations of the same songs over and over agin. Puting the albums on CD was just keeping up with the times. And the concerts werent put out to lure in anybody, they were put out so the fans could watch something new, not buy the same songs again.
I agree...the compilations have been done to death to most of us long time fans, but there are some people who still aren't that familiar with Queen's music, so in a sense it is good for those guys...but if they do put out another greatest hits package of some kind it's really gonna make me sick. A B-Sides thing would be cool, but you'll all get that with the Singles Box Set that is coming out around Christmas...
The Compilations are good to get someone started...
And I think a B-Sides would be just to DIE FOR!!! And More DVD's YES YES!! PUH-LEASEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But If they're gonna keep releasing all these compliations, atleast balance it out for us hungry fans and release something that us hardcore fans want, I.E Earls Court and the Rainbow etc... So like ok now they're releasing another compilation, but next theyd release something like the B-Sides or re-release some of their solo works (atleast here in America, cuz i have one hell of a time, im gonna wind up ordering them online like i did Roge's Happiness?)
and then if they want release another compilation, but hte problem with most of these compliations is its all the same songs, and repeating songs... and i want more albums available please!

Thank you! I have pretty much every single Queen song on my computer, and have slowly been building my CD/other queen stuff up, and I just really want...anything. I'll admit, ive only been a die-hard fan since about November, but im 13, so I'm allowed to be a newbie :P (and for those of you thinking that because of that fact, my opinions dont count, well, fuck you,) I would just friggen DIE for a b-side or Earls court on DVD!!
